NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED. FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES. When a pair of robbers decide to attack Sugar's bar, the new sheriff in town decides to handle the situation with grit and gusto.
Poor guy. He actually thought he was gonna get to live out some badass sheriff cowboy fantasy, but he got too cocky. He didn't even get to wear the badge.
I know, right. I am kind of shocked he didn't shoot his double barreled .12 gauge through the bar to hit Proctor's two goons. In Justified Season 3, episode 5, the old man liquor store owner hit Dewey Crowe with a .12 gauge pump through the counter when he had a Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm pointed at his head cause he blasphemed in his store 3 times. That was pretty badass. Great show, as well. I like how in that show every ancillary character in the show was almost as interesting and entertaining as the main characters, save for Rayland and Boyd.
@@davsny5 I love scenes like that, seeing normal people defend themselves. I agree about justified, the side characters in that show are second to none
I just finished the show on HBO Max and i got to say this show was incredible im truly sad it is over Anthony star is a phenomenal actor i love banshee!
IMO they ended it at the right time by keeping the fans wanting more. The alternative is to keep it going for too long, making the plots and characters look ridiculous. Just enjoy the heck out of it for what it was/is.
I.saw the complete series and didn't want the series to end. Great character acting and story telling of this one man released from prison takes on a new name and becomes sherriff.
"I don't like that math..." Loved Banshee. I keep hoping for some kind of sequel based on the further adventures of Hood and Job or maybe more with Brock and Bunker. We finally got a Deadwood movie after so many years. There's still more to tell in Banshee.
@@johnsmith-zw7fk the Deadwood movie is a sequel to the HBO tv series of the same name that got cancelled back in like 2007 i think. Somewhere around that time.
it was so sad in Season 4 when he was thinking back about this moment and what would have happened if he had never gotten involved/never became Lucas Hood
I don’t take him for the scumbag type to be one of Proctor’s meat eaters but I’d imagine he wouldn’t be totally serious about going after him like fake Hood, Brock, or Gordon. Probably be too scared similar to that Sheriff character from Ozark.
You should try Anthony Starr's early New Zealand series 'Outrageous Fortune' - he plays polar opposite identical twins - very funny and dark - NZ's bogan past.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jeILpCZN4cA.html
It’s amazing how cool the real Lucas Hood managed to be in such a short time. Makes me wonder what it would have been like if he lived long enough to get sworn in.
The original and the fake Hood had lot of things in common, but fake Hood has a better survival instinct, given by 15 years in prison. Make you think (at least a little) before doing something stupid.
Actually, despite this being the shortest fight scene in an amazing show that almost every episode had a great fight and shootout and car chase scene, this is my and was my dad's (RIP) favorite fight scene in anything, period. Lucas Hood was so awesome and badass but kind of foolish to think that his Glock 17 would beat a Beretta 92FS or and STI 10mm and being outgunned two to one. He should have listened to fake Hood. Also, I love the black and white flashbacks in Season 3 showing that if this didn't happen what would have happened to real Hood, fake Hood and Jobe.
@@bignerd5529 He lacked pretty much everything the fake Hood had. He had skills but the guys fake Hood went up against would've had him for breakfast. Hood was just a small town sheriff while fake Hood was way more than that.
@@H.K.5 I believe Real Hood was also a badass psycho, he just lacked the cunning of the Fake Hood: at a bare minimum Brock made inquiries about Sheriff Hood's recklessness and brutality and that didn't raise any red flags on the other side of the phonecalls - Church, Oregon. I'm rambling on but I'm assuming there might be a prequel/sequel series in the near-future and it will be called "Church." An epic name for a small town and tv series - just like Banshee.
barbiquearea That's why I don't like most badasses. They tend to do make stupid and illogical decisions that may get themselves or others kill. I don't care if your badass as long as you have some intelligence with it.
I know this is a two year old comment, but idk if you have seen Black Sails (Season two and the season two finale to be even more specific). Pretty damn good as well.
I come from an extremely strict and overly disciplined childhood too but I do agree nonetheless, his use of cutlery is not good and then when he clinks them on his teeth ewww
Homelander: Origins For real though, this was the first time i saw Anthony Star and he did not disappoint. The whole show kicked ass and i wondered why i never heard of it before.
I first saw this on Mother's Day while watching this On-Demand a few weeks ago. And a matter of fact, it's not bad. It is a good show and I enjoy it. Since I still got premium channels for free for 3 months, I finished the first 2 seasons OnDemand and I got 2 more seasons to go. This is one of the rarest exceptions for the 2010s in modern television (for me that is).
@@H.K.5 The guy that killed those guy was a thief that came to Banshee looking for some diamonds, the real Lucas Hood was that man that those guy killed.
Amazing show, Some good shows tend to drag and ruine themselfs, this show ended right when it was suppose to end, however I did want to see a spinoff show on one of the other characters, tgis show had plenty of characters that can hold a series.
