Great looking bike as usual - but ... the left indicator appears to be slightly inboard of the headlamp. Probably not a problem in daylight, but might this not cause confusion to other road users at night, when all someone is going to see is a headlamp with a strangely positioned flashing light above it?
G’day Dell, Have you given any thought to sealing the top of the mounting brackets. The open space will collect moisture between the front plate and the “L” brackets and will rust out. I’m sure you knew this. Cheers
Nice job. First I thought those indicators wouldn't fit with the rest of the Busa. But you proved me wrong (again). I really like those cut-outs, they look slick. Hope your health is getting better and better with fabrication work in the gerage. Günter from Nürnberg/Germany
A 'Cylon' LED bar needed; consciously swiveling it's all knowing gaze to scare the willies out of the MoT inspector. (Lighting, close-ups, editing etc. - top notch . . . Cake count - dismal . . . Presenter - dubious, but thankfully upright : )
They came out great, Del! Based on your comments early on, it sounds like the police are a bit more fussy there than here with things like indicators, tags and maybe exhaust? Here it’s a mixed bag in the states- it varies from one to the next. Basically in Delaware, you need to comply with all the basics at time of inspection (currently every 2 years), but can turn things loose in between… straight pipes, sideways mounted tags, etc. The police here don’t bother folks in between unless you’re doing something obnoxious driving-wise (wheelies, stoppies, burnouts et al). My state has no helmet requirements for those over 18. Most people wear them anyway. In any event, have a great weekend. You’re looking better with each video! Hope you both are staying safe and smiling 🙂 into the wind. 🏍👍🏍
Hey Gary, yeah, we do get a hard time compared to you.. but it can be even more harsh in Euro countries and Australia, we have an annual inspection, and enforcement can differ from county to county depending on how much obnoxious biker activity there is in that area.. i guess one thing that's universal, if you don't ride like a dick.. then you can get away with most things.!

Hey Allen, good to hear from you Sir, it's good to be back in the garage and working again, just enjoying some fun with an old bike.. Take care of everyone and have a wonderful weekend.. D&Pxx
Nice job Del, looks good mate,. looking forward to the next one. Penny and you have a great weekend and stay safe, hope things are going well over your side of the pond. This side in west Oz all going well, the other side of Oz not so good. Take care, Cheers
Thanks so much mate, it's good to hear that you don't have so much to worry about over in Western Oz.. fewer people and a lot more space i guess.. Thanks so much for your support mate, it's always good to hear from you, have a peaceful weekend and keep safe. D&Pxx
Great to see you up and about doing what you obviously love to do!!! The fabrication process is fascinating to watch. One comment ... any concern that the left indicator being directly above the headlight would the less visible at night being in the beam of the headlight??
I am really digging the new Busa look Bro. You know I loves me some American Flat Track and that number plate front end really fits the part. Hope all is well. Cheers, love to both! Mike & Melly
Hey Brother, good to hear from you, and yeah, lots of styles lend themselves will to this kind of bike, and Flat Track is awesome anytime. Have a wonderful weekend both of you, we hope you can get out on the bikes and enjoy some quality miles.. Take care and keep safe.. D&Pxx
Nice work so far Del, its quite cool how you made the indicators sit in the cut out, Im looking forward to the GPS speedo should look very cool! All the best guys! SR
Great work mate, hope you are well. I've just moved house so spent a week building a patio and a shed. Next on the list will be work bench and man cave stuff 😎
Congratulations on your move mate, always a stressful time aye.. but making your self a cool workbench will be great stress relief.. Take care and have fun. D&Px
You have some of the best toys I'm mean tools😂 I love how you come up with these ideas and that your not afraid to change things around, you are looking well Del and hope Penny is good as well... Again great editing on the video looking realy professional.
😊 Thank you Andy, enjoying having some fun with an old bike, and it doesn't matter if you change stuff around and chop it up a bit, plus it's a great way to express yourself... we're both fine thank you, Penny is taking good care of me, I know I try her patience, but then that's my job! Thanks for the kind words on the editing, it's a lot of work, but good to know it's appreciated!
Blimes how kit do you have Del? 😜 gonna be another awesome build, I don’t think you’ve ever made a bike I don’t like and want to own👍🏻 seen the wrapped Kawasaki on eBay bro, I haven’t got the cash tho 🥺 keep up the great work and healing, best wishes to you and penny. Cheers Big AL 💪🏻👍🏻
I don't like it that much at the moment but you always seem to make it right in the end. Main thing is you like it and have some fun. Cheers boss, all the best. Hi to Penny 🎈👍🤗
Fair enough Ollie, i never judge anything while it's half built, like i wouldn't eat a cake before it's baked... Have fun and enjoy your weekend buddy.. all the best. D&Px
The bikes you build are brilliant. Not just mechanically sound, but the design is so unique and original. Would love to see one in the flesh! Great job Del and great to see you looking so well mate 👍🏻
great job brother , really loving the custom style, this bike is gonna look awesome when is done !! keep up the great work !!!! stay safe guys , cheers from new york
Ha ha.. me too mate.. I'm by no means good at it.. self taught entirely.. and i find that a couple of small practice passes on some scrap metal will help you set up the machine just right... machine setup is everything.. and of course Practice. !!!!!
Is there any way you can show me how to use that finger snappy thingy? I've tried it on loading and unloading my gear out of the truck on gig night, and it just ain't working!
Thank you so much John, Glad you enjoyed it sir.. i have to take it easy between garage days, not nearly up to full fitness for a fare while yet... but it is great to be making content for sure
Hi del looking good glad to see your doing well.i have a question as I'm building a project atm similar to yours. How do you deal with insurance purposes as you you know what there like IE modification s etc etc . cheers chris
Didn’t like it. Started to warm up to it. Began to get a glimpse of your vision. Really got to enjoying the series and now I’m loving the hybrid Mad Max / sophisticated look of the Busa. Cheers!
You must be doing something right = I keep watching your vids even tho’ my taste in bikes is nearly the polar opposite to yours = Inspiration to make stuff, educational on how to, but with entirely different design ethos, materials, & outcome. Thanks!
Thank you buddy, you'd be surprised what bikes I enjoy, my taste is wide and varied, from big Harley Tourers to Streetfighter Rat bikes, I love them all! Thanks again and enjoy the videos...
@@Moonfleet41 Lol Del hope you sharpen it up before returning it to the wife.we all know what some women are like when we use there stuff are like...A ear full of aggro. LOL...
Again your skills and your craftsmanship are great for me the weakest point some time is your design. Example of poor design, ''Giant square number plate''
@@rene-yvescote3954 Aha, i was a little surprised, im not reinventing the wheel..! ive seen countless different shapes and sizes, even oval which just looks odd... but it isn't finished, i did clearly say that at the beginning, but it still didn't stop the dissent..! i guess people feel compelled to pass continued critique on things whether they're complete or not.! thanks for your kinder words though, much appreciated .
