A look at the Baron Receiver Link digital antenna, a highly requested item ever since I reviewed the ABSCBN TvPlus box.
Most "new" TVs in the Philippines now include a built-in digital TV (DTV) tuner which means you don't need to buy a separate box like the ABSCBN TvPlus. But you will need a DTV antenna to pair with your TV and this Baron antenna might be what you're looking for.
Similarly you might want to replace the antenna that came with your DTV box because it isn't suitable for use outdoors or can't quite give you the signal strength that you need.
Being so close to a tower, I didn't see much difference between the Baron Receiver Link (BRL) and the antenna included with the TvPlus box.
The Baron Receiver Link (BRL) will receive signals from all directions but performs best when the front lobe is directed towards the transmitter source.
I showed this in practice by pointing the BRL at Ortigas which allowed me to pickup ETC and 2nd Ave which I can't normally receive.
