Sucks here in Australia. We get piss weak rifles while any American guy can grab a .50 :P We aren't even aloud Airsoft guns without a license :P

In some states it is either impossible or just hard as an ordinary citizen to get a rifle in 50BMG.

In England you can have shotguns (7round limit), semi auto .22lr rifles, .22lr pistols with an extension piece on it, all center fire rifles minus semi autos, pump actions and full autos. And there is an limit on how many guns you can have.

Cool, when you get a shotgun license, can you then just walk in to a gunstore and walk out again 5min later with a shotgun, or do you need to wait some days before you can get it?

Well to get your license you need to be a part of a Gun Club, then you go over a course which shows you safety with firearms, so that means you have our license blah blah blah. Then you can go to a store and purchase a rifle, but I think it has to be a few days until you can get it. Also, we can't have semi-autos or pump actions here.

Normal ball ammunition is 5$ a round. That's how much mine cost. If you're paying 10$ per round of ball, you are getting shitted.

Sky Vins No, no its not.... Stop spreading lies. I can get Match rounds for my 82 for around $8.31 a round for 10, that is expensive Hornady 750 A-max factory ammo., I can reload (which I do mainly now) the M82 for $3.35 a round now.

you have a very broad definition of "lies". the average price is ten bucks. if you managed to luck out and get it for a buck less, it's still fucking expensive. and reloading is a whole bunch of money to even start, without even considering the time and effort.

Re-watching this during Covid-19 quarantine time. Such a great video.. thought he made a new vid until I checked the date. Mr. Miculek makes that weapon system look like a sidearm! I'm even more impressed watching this again years later. If Mr. Miculek had been on Browning's Pro Staff, back in the day.. we'd all have .50's for home defense by now. Get some!!!

Jerry endeavored to undertake, a .50 cal video to make. With Mr. Barrett to share it, they were able to square it. And make for our viewing a tale of great wooing. With boxes of bullets and rounds from the store, our main man was ready to take on a tour. He touched off the trigger and the barrel did roar, but the shave cream an watermelon and corn were no more. The concussion did rattle and throw out a shock, to the world famous shooter our fabled jock. Jerry did kneel at the bench to shoot, but he came up a laughing, proclaiming a hoot. It started to rain but lasted not long as Jerry bust out in his favorite song; 30 years to develop but now it's all mine, short barrel, concussion it's all going fine. I mixed up my Sure Shot and propane to cook, threw in a turtle and then with a hook, a Nemo like thing came up from the sea and with a magic flash bang went incendiary. There is more to the story but watch it you must, to see how he turns the bricks into dust.

I had to stop watching after the Styrofoam ice chests, he was having to much fun without me. Back in the Nam I was a 67A1F on a UH1C, and M model gunship. Shooting 5k in a hot zone was normal. The M60 was a choice weapon, and with the tracer rounds it was like turning on a high pressure hose. That 50cal tho, that's a long distance single call, Ma Bell reach out and touch someone.

You forgot the raufoss round it flies about 2,900 feet per second and cost between 65 to 100 bucks and the slap round which is going 4,000 feet per second that slap shot round will go threw 2/14 inches of Harden titanium and cost 10 bucks or less the raufoos will only go threw 1.5 inches of Harden titanium , like you said there are more rounds but for penetrating the best is the slap shot !👍👍💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 ALWAYS AWESOME TO WATCH A LEGEND STAY STRONG!!!

That 50 is definately way more than plenty enough for taking any animal with legs. It looks like fun too...but $10 or $12 per shot is more than I am willing and able to spend . For rich boys that live in Elk country It MIGHT be usefull for 1 mile shots. Since I am just a working class dummy I might do almost as well with the 7.62 with 29 inch barrel and good sights .at half a mile.... or use better bait and the 30-30. For now, I will stick with stuff that runs on 5 to less than 65 grains of powder.. Since Elephants do not walk around in the Bush in my area I do not feel undergunned with a 45 ACP, 44 Magnum, 5.56, 30-30, and a 7.62x54...but my favourites are still the 30-30, 44 Magnum, and the Crossbow .
