The "taking the goggles away" thing hit me so hard. I went to a private school my whole life and when i tried LSD, it changed my perspective on things. I could see things that I felt no one else was seeing. Just stuff like greed, media, money, the government, etc. Was a great experience and I still value all I have learned from it. Still learning to this day and I have changed my outlook on life and my opinions on everything.
All I can say about mushrooms is that you have waves and waves, you feel all your emotions all at once, things about your childhood. You just want to talk to someone and everything you normally care about goes away. All I can say is that if you have a good expectation for all the weirdness and you decide to be in a good mood, because it's not good to be in a bad mood. I just love everything right now and I'm so happy to be here as a person. All of this is also real in this video.

@@-1subswithoutuploadingavid621 Weed is pretty benign. About as harmful as a cup of coffee. Magic mushrooms and lsd are literally non-toxic. Alcohol is, by comparison, a far more harmful drug, with a lethality and addictive potential that puts many other drugs to shame.
@@bnbnism not fucking heroin, every addict of that substance always says as soon as they got hooked in with their first experience they never could go back because of how strong it is. Even addicts who went to prison for years without it. still run to it as soon as they get out.

This is an excellent video. You have a talent for describing the psychedelic experience in ways most people can't. And like you mentioned in other videos, there are things language can't even touch on. But yet you still managed to touch on them. I've never seen a RU-vid video that captures the experience so well. You describe everything I've felt while doing psychedelics so well; nobody's reached the same level for me before. Please keep going, your commentary is invaluable.
I had already watched your video on your second channel about this, but you added some new things that weren't in that video and it was great trying to remember the story before you got to the different parts.

As with everything else. Moderation is the key. And a good tripsitter, who knows how to get people relaxed. My friend just pokes me, I'll go "why did you do that?" He would say "I'm not gonna stop till you figure it out." And I would go from a bad trip, to being confused and wonder what I'm supposed to figure out.
Psychedelics have been used throughout human history, if you look at the biology of the brain we have so many receptors for these chemicals that go barely used. However the power of the human brain is astounding. I mean go and look into hypnosis and what's that capable of, and that is literally somebody telling your brain to do things and it just does, forget numbers, stand still, focus on doing x etc.

3:00 I think he means like the kind of movement where if you're in a credit screen on a video game and the credits stop moving but your brain takes a second to realize that they aren't moving anymore so they just kind of look like they're moving up even though they're clearly not. or when you spin around a whole lot and then stop and look dead ahead and everything is spinning while somehow retaining the same image. or when you're next to a cell tower or something like that on a windy day and you look at the clouds and for a few seconds it looks more like the tower is eternally falling instead of the clouds moving above.

I remember being on 5grams of shrooms and watched myself age from 18-40. Had the sky collapse on me. Remember noticing that only certain blades of grass an off blue. But the biggest thing for me was not having a sense of self or really that I'm on this planet
I’ve come to the same conclusions by laying in my bed crying about my anxiety for about 1 1/2 yrs. Those moments have been terrible and probobly made my anxiety worse, but overall it has given me another perspective of the world, it’s institutions and the people in it.
Back when I did smoke a few times, the worst part was the lack of a concept of time. I remember staring off for "two minutes", then the high momentarily wore off, I looked at a clock and it had been 2 and a half hours, then I felt the effects wash back over me again. That scared me, I don't like it.
i stared at my pc moving background of the galaxy for 45 minutes straight on acid when i was first starting to do it. the galaxy turned into pictures and i could see how the pattern exactly repeated. I kept staring none stop and then suddenly the picture rectangle slides all turned into puzzle pieces that all made sense. I closed my eyes for a bit and opened them and it again went from the moving pictures to the puzzle pieces. By this time my background didn't look like a video, it looked like a choppy gif of connected and moving puzzle pieces that made a galaxy if that makes any sense. Soon enough i could make it form the puzzle pieces instantly no matter how long i closed my eyes. I also talked to my mom on acid while she was in bed and the lights were off. i just saw a wall of a blue ocean with yellow eye things all in it, but was more like a 2d texture overlayed on the ocean movement.
I have no idea what's going on but I watched this video before summer break and now it says it was released a week ago. I only remember bits and pieces as well, basically just the part about the darkness (unless you just told this story on stream or in a different video)

It seems most psychedelics have many similar lessons to be learned. I've not come across too many folks who experience these substances in the proper set/setting coming out the other side without a lesson about life. Thanks for sharing!
This was genuinely really interesting to me. As someone who has typically been strongly against the use of drugs, its intriguing to see the positive sides of it in action. I would be interested to hear about the LSD story for sure
i just imagine barry taking a dose of acid,3 shots of liquid meth,an entire keg of mountain dew and red bull with doritos mushed in together then starts riding a poodle balloon for some reason across the street with moo moo meadows playing in the background
i have been in the "weed after psychedelics" situation.... it was a really bad idea. i usually only smoke hasj but that time is was a pure weed joint. i take a few hits and the next thing i know im so overwhelmed with everything that i can barely mumble "im going bad', no one heard. then i think i might need to just chill and change location. so i stand up from the couch and my head begins to spin. I was experiencing the weird static thing when you stand up too fast, but then tripping wayyy too hard. then i remember dreaming really realisticly, untill i was finally able to open my eyes. according to my friends, after i stood up, i suddenly collapsed. they told me afterwards that i was out for about 20 - 30 seconds. one of my friends started throwing up because of the shock after that. so thats my scary story. it was kinda irresponsible but i have taken psychedelics after that. In the end i learned a valuable lesson: dont always try to find your limmits...
Haha lmao I loved looking in the mirror on shrooms. At first it scared the shit out of me but my friend told me “enjoy it. it’s just part of the experience” and then i thought it was hilarious. Kinda gave me the same breakthrough you had. Oh what a day...
Lol that was a super interesting story and I agree on a lot of points xD it was fun how I was saying how dumb the list of questions was but pretty smart at the same time and funny as well so I died when you called yourself dumb. It was interesting too see the "good" side of taking these things as I myself have heared about weed and such not being as super bad as I though they were and as I like your view set on a lot of things maybe I'll try them one day since it seems like an interesting experiance. I feel like I understand a lot of things already and already have the mindset that you come too in some of these videos or sometimes reach them by watching the videos so I'm curious to what happens to my mindset if I do take it one day since I feel like I have diffrent mindset than a lot of people but the opposite is true sometimes. Anyway great video as usual and looking forward to whatever story you come up with next and as usual sorry for the spam xD
