provolone is is good on pizza as an addition but not as the main cheese. maybe 15% provolone. That just gives it nice stretch.

Actually a little parmesan is normal. Traditional neopolitan has parm spinkled on to the sauce. And many pizza places mix parm into the mozz. Its basically a salt subsitute.

I mean anything outside a standard pizza, meaning if it has tangy sauce or different crust etc you can't trust dave. He has a bland taste buds and can be trusted for a "standard slice". But anytime somethings deviates from the standard bland slice he gives it a low score so i never trust him for places that do things differently. Like here where I live this place has a siracha slice that has siracha mixed into the sauce and it's probably one of the best slices I have ever had before but I know dave would give it a 4. Trust him for the standard reviews but anytime he goes to a place that tries things a little differently i immediately discard his score.

People have different taste standards. Pres likes the standard cheese pizza. This pizza place gave them what most of the people who come in enjoy.

Agreed. Provolone is a milder cheese that goes well with spicier meats like ham and salami...it’s not meant for pizza.
