@attackonkyojin1548 It’s bad writing that a Batman never questions if his ideals are wrong so he doesn’t grow as a person. Even his own son calls him out but he still never considers he’s wrong.
Batman is the angel in Superman’s shoulder, not only in Injustice but in all DC continuities Bruce keeps Clark humble, true to himself, and above all else, *human* One of the many reasons why Clark has such a high respect for him
The occassional flashes of heroism, and warmth from Superman just make his fall in this universe all the more tragic. You can see there's still a good man in there somewhere, but hes too far gone now.
Maybe. My fan theory is if a third game comes out it will be about redeeming his character. He had shown many times over this game he has regrets and if mournful about the things he has done

If you have a killer clown that can get a nuke and You have beings like darkseid at our doorstep then hell yeah Superman can rule!

I can understand some of his points (even if I largely disagree with them) and I'm not entirely against a redemption arc but the man undeniably became a complete monster with horrific methods. He very much is the villain of these games.
Bruce trusting Kara makes me happy. This is the most optimistic I've seen him in these games. It's like as if a great burden was lifted from his shoulders.
I think seeing the fall of his closest friend did a number on him. Bruce actually tried a lot of things that I think he wouldn't do if circumstances were different. Him saying "I miss the people we were then" was his final effort to appeal to Clark's good side, to try to bring him back but even that proved to be futile.
@@Marcus-gw4bb Understandably so. But at that point, Bruce knows that there was so much distance between them and their actions that it was too late to turn back.
Batman has always been optimistic. You’d have to be very optimistic to send mass murderers to Arkham, even tho they’ve broken out with ease many times, and still think your no kill rule is working.
I am so glad someone else noticed this too! The way he storms into the room full of superpowered beings. Also, the facial emotes were perfect too for all the characters especially Batman when he was talking to Superman and Kara. That subtle look of empathy on Bruce's face when Clark said Brainiac killed his parents.
Superman really couldve let Batman die there and beat brainiac by himself. Or at least I really think he could’ve thought he could win on his own. But decided to save him regardless of the possible conflict between them later. God I love the subtle bits between these two in injustice. Makes you miss them being friends and appreciate them being friends in the original universe even more. I also like how super girl’s tune changes and develops.
My favorite thing about these moments, is that I spite of everything Superman had done, Bruce still believes in him. And he and Clark both still care about each other like the brothers they used to be. World's Finest in every universe, I suppose ♥️
It shows that this Superman probably isn’t so far from redemption, after all. An Injustice 3 story would have given us just that: Superman’s redemption
Yeah... Unfortunately there's also the possibility that he saved him simply because he respects and recognizes Bruce's exceptional mind as a valuable asset and not necessarily because there's a part of him that still considers him his friend, which is why in the bad ending he chose to keep him alive and mind-controlled as a slave rather than kill him.
How is Damien the worst? He tells Bruce how he failed to protect Jason, Barbara, and Metropolis because of his no kill rule! He was right! This story calls out Batman for his wrongs but the story keeps insisting he’s always right. It’s not equal.

I love the idea that they HATE that they have to fight each other. It’s the last thing they’d want. They love each other like brothers but they can’t endorse the other’s actions.

Batman enabled Joker to do what he did and as such he has the blood of thousands on his hands and Injustice has over 11 Million on his hands. Had he been a friend to Superman and gotten his head out of his ass things would be different. Instead he immediately went all he killed a psychotic so he's evil and needs to be stopped, completely ignoring that Harley Quinn was just as responsible for Metropolis yet he doesn't hesitate to protect her and have her join his group, which is also something the scumbags Green Arrow and Black Canary are guilty of.

The only reason Superman became who he did is because of Batman warring with him. Here is just one example of Batman's evil during those 5 years. He essentially drugged Superman and put him in a dream coma that to Superman lasted a lifetime where he lived basically a perfect life and realize what he lost and could have had. This is just one of many examples. Injustice Batman is more evil then the Joker and he thinks like you do that nobody should die which is just plain stupid. Main Batman does have a limit to where he says this scum needs to die and it was with Darkseid.

Back then Batman would always have a consistency plan for every Justice League member should they go rogue, and he always ready for when that happens; making him unable to trust either of them more. But now… His suspicions came sorta true, and now all he wants is to go back to the old days where they all fought side-by-side, where he and Superman remain good friends, where he would still have both his sons (Dick and Damien). It goes to show that Batman truly enjoyed that old life deep down; and now it’s gone.😢

I get both sides here on the one hand rapists and pedophiles deserve to die but on the other hand killing doesn't need to be the answer for everything the true solution is to do things the real right way that means sometimes putting people in jail or putting them down now if we all could just agree on that life in all universes would be better then it is now

@@Mercer13958 well no You thinking of every time of someone getting out as being convenient Realistically just like real world jail if these people like joker were in prison or sent to another dimension, they be gone for good or at least for a long a** time And the only reason you see them getting out so offten is because they are different stories aka different universes, he’ll most of the joker stories of him doing something horrible are not all in the same time line, so when people say why doesn’t Batman just kill joker after everything he done it’s because joker didn’t do all those things in that time line And evens stories where they say those things have happened joker is already locked up for a long time and rarely shows up Look at I young justice apparently everything bad joker did he has done in that universe but as shown in the young justice universe he is just one evil and has been put away for years in that universe, only showing up for a total of 3-5 times throughout the whole series which is over a decade now from the start
Only because the suit is also an exoskeleton/power armor, and only because it is filled with enough Kryptonite to make Supes weakened even from a few meters away from what we see here. And also because Supes doesn't want to kill Bruce, he's the only other one individual who he could trust if he ever switches sides.

Me personally I think it’s the writers being desperate to make Superman look more wrong without showing any faults in Batman. Alfred got in the way. He wasn’t a tyrant, he killed villains and dictators while Batman let them roam free in the revolving door known as Arkham. And what has Batman done to redeem himself? Still keep his no kill rule despite Jason getting murdered, Barbara getting crippled, metropolis getting nuked and Lois being killed along with her unborn child? Superman mentioning Brainiac killing Krypton has become true in My Adventures with Superman. Or does it. It is probably the Phantom Zone Projector that cats people into a literal hell. One of the worst prisons in the DC Universe. Or it is a black hole generator like TMNT created by Fugitoid. Either way Brainiac is the reason why Superman and Supergirl became orphans and committed mass genocide against other planets without a single regret.
