For those asking. This is not one game but a mix of Batman Arkham origins (DeathStroke/Slade), Batman Arkham Knight (Batmobile), DC Injustice (Jl fighting each other) and DCUO ( Lex, Joker, Black Adam ).

The issue is that it would be ridiculously illegal/extralegal in order to do anything effective and turn Bruce Wayne into a de facto dictator. He's the type of guy who just wants to make the existing legal system work instead of making a new system.
@@shikniwho7215 Not even that, just more of the villains perspective and less of batman's during the fights. Switch it from an action genre to a horror for that extra creativity, imagine batman jumpscares and stuff. @@zenith161 it just one of the random thugs Batman beat up before Deathstroke show up, one of them manage to survive after the warehouse exploded so Blackmask just finish him off.
ok sick graphics aside, and realism, what really makes this a homerun, and what's sometimes overlooked, is that this all still had to be directed, and the cinematography created. That's the secret sauce. Much props to the directors and whoever pasted all this together.
Except for the fight scenes. They could have done them like Yakie Chan does his scenes, but they decided to make them with extremely short and fast cuts where you can barely see the the fight. The same way they do it in movies where the actors can't fight. Here, doesn't make sense.
Fyi: the fight scenes in the Arkham games where done via motion capturing, by the stunt team who later worked on Netflix´s Daredevil. Also, all of Batman´s moves in the actual game were motion captured, using the stuntman who later doubled Charlie Cox. Chris Brewster is his name,he and this team, lead by Phil. Silvera also worked on Capt. America Winter Soldier. In fact, the producers of Netflix hired them because of this here.

Ok but also think about how badass it is to snipe someone from really far away in the middle of a fight where they flip around and stuff and you manage to shoot the sword, not once, but twice
Two shots would be the minimum. The first report lets you know a weapon was discharged. The second report allows you to hone in which direction. Knowing a precise location from that far away, over a river, on a bridge and with nothing but air currents to reflect sound is pretty amazing.
This Batman will always have a special place in my heart! He is full grown Arkham city Batman and he is awesome! ...The one calling down artillery is a different story!
@@unholydiver1095 if u r talking about the most recent batman, then no it wasn't even close, it was honestly boring and certain aspects of it didn't make sense and had barely any action, in a "batman" movie
@@ridgefrost Boring and "not enough action". Man, you must really want a Michael Bay directed movie then huh? Assuming you also didn't like the Dark Knight as well
The thing that really tips you off to good animation, is when you see something you didn't expect, but which makes perfect sense. Seeing how deathstroke moves, especially his first flips, is just strange. He's in a full metal suit, yet his movements so convincingly show that he can damn well fight in it. Good momentum and inertia is really hard to animate well (for evidence of this I'd advise you to look at fight scenes from the series Red Vs Blue. Specifically the Tex Vs Meta fight scene, and then any fight scene past season 15.) and the fact that deathstroke can both convey a sense of weight, like he's in a walking suit of tank armor, and agility is evidence of just excellent animation.
This is also why the early MCU Iron Man films and appearances work. The sound design and animation give the impression that the suit has weight to it, which it very well should.
it sound obvious but these are just short 2-3 minutes vids so there are less holes than a movie. But dont act like these games are flawless in term of story. Arkham city and knight though good games imo, in term of story theyre quite messy at point.
Yeah well BatMan wasn’t the one who started shooting into the hole the first goon fell in is he? For all we know he could have tried to put him in a sleeper hold, only for the guy’s “associate” to start firing off, hell the floor was very stable in the first place, could’ve just fallen through a soft spot, not BatMan’s fault the floor was rotting.
I've never been so impressed by a video game before, like I have been with this game. The fighting scenes look so realistic, just like the movements of a real human. The graphics look like an animated movie. The music and audio is beyond what you would ever expect from a video game. Brought to you from your friends from Warner Bros Games, DC Comics and Rocksteady. So, if you liked these scenes that you saw here, then why not pre-order this game.
Why can we never get a movie like this. Every animated version of Batman is significantly more cool than even the best live action versions. The closest we've ever gotten to a fight scene looking like that is the warehouse scene with Ben Affleck
100% agreed. The Nolan trilogy was solid, yet the choreography, the fight scenes in general were absolutely atrocious. After watching the trailer for "The Batman", I was stoked that finally a Director understood how integral Batman's expertise in hand to hand/close quarter combat was to who he was as a character (trained in the deadliest arts in history, the deadliest multi disciplined martial artist ever). Alas, Batman almost gets handled by a group of teenage thugs, shows no real skill in the martial arts, and I was done when he was being dragged by his cape by a couple of disfranchised losers at the end of the movie. I have no idea how people thought that was a good Batman movie…apologies for the rant.
The Slade boss fight came on so early and was the most difficult battle outside of the final Bane battle. Especially on hard mode. I was cussing like no tomorrow when both Slade and Bats' life bars were one hit away and I couldn't land it.
Which Batman game had the Slade and blood sport in the same I have all the Batman games but I had a A bad seizure completely shut up a couple years ago and don't remember which games are which other than Arkham Knight and Arkham city and are composite are by far the best ones
@@keen7985 i second that !! Damn why does "Origins" get so much hate , i mean injuring the criminals with Shock Gloves was so addictive and satisfying , not to mention some of the Best Boss fight also.
@@ic0nix_107 na,the sound is great but the choreographies are simple and slow, they go with the style of the film that seeks to be realistic, the closest thing we will have to this is the bvs scene unfortunately, it must be said that the superhero cinema suffers from the lack of best choreographers who know martial arts
@@riddhimanshaw5299 but we are not talking about that, that Batman kills and it is not ok but that choreography is much more polished and is the closest to video games, the Batman has a great Batman but the choreography is disappointing, only the scene with Catwoman is dumb
to be fair, we don't have super light and flexible suit like Batman in the game, the cape alone probably enough to cause a lot of problem during filming.
Again, wrong Shikni Who. We literally have a guy in an armor suit! A guy flipping from building to building and swinging through the canyons of Manhattan. Just, please stop. You are embarrassing yourself.
@@michaelhemsley1470 you do know because Ironman and Spiderman wear a suit that can hide they face, they are more open for CGI to do more crazy shot right? while in the actual suit, the actor show to complain about what a pain it is to put on and off because of how tight it is.
@@shikniwho7215 it can't be an excuse. Zack did a good action scene with batman in BvS. All we could ask for is maybe, a little more agility. But for real, the warehouse scene was very well choregraphied, dope.
@@roleoahotondji54 Well his suit was pretty special, i'm sure the extra weight he had to deal with lowered his agility. The real problem with BvS was shoehorning in one of the most important superman arcs of all of the comics, the death of superman and doomsday. They kinda did the same thing with the Hulk in Thor Ragnarok. World War Hulk is one of the most important arcs for his character in the last 3 decades, and they make him a side character next to Thor. I wanted to see the Sentry (basically Marvel's version of Superman) fight the Hulk to a stand still.
Not many. This is what children, which I’m guessing you are one, want. A successful movie isn’t just a nonstop action-fest, it has nuance, it has mystery, it has an actual story and intrigue. It isn’t just a boring beat-em-up video game made into a CGI trailer. Those things need to be minimized, and most of the movie is dialogue and intrigue. This is what nature audiences like. Only little kids want a stupid movie where it’s just over the top computer generated graphics punch fest.
Luthor is a genius...but his intellect is clouded by his hatred for Kal. A Level 12 intellect (Brainiac) used a Level 10 intellect (Luthor) to take out the sun god. Seems fitting, in a sense.
This is cool, but we have alot of these moments in the animated movies and games. I'm more interested in the detective and psychological aspect of Batman and his mythos that isn't explored as much, and The Batman delivered on that brilliantly.
@@thepack9070 the Batman from the Arkham series is the greatest Batman of them all and that's the Batman I thought Ben Affleck was going to bring us and that included Batman the detective

So awesome on every level!!!!!. This is how Batman needs to be portrayed!. How is a video games cinematography/fight choreography gonna be better than any Batman movie on the big screen so far?!?!?!.
You know what I want to see? A Batman Arkham game where you play as Batman in his later years where we get to see ultimate fates of people like Two-Face, Penguin, Riddler, maybe have Harley Quinn as an ally. ....... Then have a major DLC expansion where you play in a future Gotham City as McGinnis from Batman Beyond, and adapt the Return of The Joker storyline.
No. RotJoker should be the second game. Terry should get at least a 3-4 hour straight story content DLC, not extended chase, collector or delivery missions

When I watch this all I see is Ben Affleck...as The Batman! And for me that's a good thing. I really enjoyed his run with the character. Was the closest to Miller's version/vision of the Dark Knight imo That said, these cinematics are great!
