Did anyone notice that the Batmobiles switched places at the finish line? The '89 Batmobile was one the left for the whole race, but it wound up on the right at the finish line.

It was obviously staged. The whole plan was to have her clean the car in her bikini for the fans In the race, the 89 was in the right lane, and the 66 in the left. At the photo finish they had switched lanes. I don't know of too many races where the cars switch lanes just before the finish. They could have done without the actual race and just given us 10 minutes of Marisha Ray in her bikini. I would watch the shit out of that all day long.

WTF??? The ending is censored now! I watched this a couple years ago, and they showed everything (and it was awesome). WHY???

Hadn't seen this in forever. I started watching Critical Role and remembered Marisha as the host of these, but was surprised to see Matt Mercer as "laptop guy" at the end.

Both cars reached a stunning speed of 12mph during this race.

Man, I would love to have the '89 Batmobile...

The L88 Engine in the 1966 Batmobile was used in Corvettes and was actually rated at 425 horsepower so this outcome makes perfect sense. A truly Great Car!

The Classic isn't old. It's The Best!!! Two cars that I have always appreciated on screen before all others. The Batmobile and the Chrysler Imperial, Black Beauty, from The Green Hornet!!! Classics from the 1060's that will be Forever Young and Forever Beautiful!!! Also, The Munsters Koach, The Dragula Coffin and The Monkeemobile too!!!

Realistically this is based on the build quality of the cars they used. The 89 Batmobile is too heavy, the 60s one is an actual car.

When I was like 6 when this came out it wasnt censored and if you were there my freinds well you missed A LOT TOTALLY WORTH IT

The real 1966 Batmobile is a 1959 Lincoln Futura showcar that Goerge Barris rebodied for the TV show and it was powered by a 352-2V Turnpike Cruiser FE motor. The real 1989 Batmobile was built on a bus chassis and powered by a actual turbine , MTV gave away one of them as a promotion with $25,000.00 to repower it because they came minus the turbine engine. All the specs given by that dude are a bunch of BS and don't reflect what the actual cars had. So if those are the specs those cars are clones. I met Barris in the mid 80's and got the rundown on several of the cars he built for movies and tv. I've still got pictures of the General Lee and The Car he signed that hang over my desk.

No Batmobiles were used in the making of this video, But it was fun to watch. (I restored #5 for Bob Butts in 1985/6 and it still has my 66 T-bird 390 in it.) Originals had a weak 352 2bbl Y block engine.

For me the original 1960s Batmobile is still beautiful it has those cool buttons that activate other gadgets as well.
