The Freezebomb Paralyze glitch is actually pretty interesting, in that in the MMBN collection it has been patched out of the PVP and *only* the PVP side of things. It's been intentionally left in the singleplayer part of the game, so that people who want to mess around with it can still do so.
I love the Easter Egg on the "Master Style" PA where all the different style Mega Man that show up are canon to the anime's storyline. HeatGuts, WoodShield, AquaCustom, and my all-time favorite ElecTeam.
The Fighter Sword series is also a Style chip, you can only use them when you're not in a Style Change or in Hub Style, just something I figured was worth pointing out
As I recall, only the LAST hit of master style (the explosion) pierces shields. There's a wonderful video of someone blocking all of the leadup with a regular back + B shield
Yeah you abuse the hell lot during that HeatManV2 battle. Remember that moment in “MegaMan Battle Network 2: HeatMan V2 (Freeze Bomb Glitch)” You got an * code freeze bomb. First you paralyse it with ToadMan then use Freeze Bomb to stun lock him completely. Then finish the rest using TripleNeedle T codes.
something odd about sparkers invincibility is that there are attacks that can still damage you. if i remember right its super piercing moves and breaking attacks. i dont remember specifically but i do remember actually taking damage while charging in the LC recently
From what I know in MegaMan Battle Network 3. Bolt is super broken along with prism chips. Combine this with IceStage and is very op. GaiaSword and GaiaBlade are another broken chips since there is mine * codes which you can farm for and it stacks to max 999 damage if you have 3 mines in the chip selection. The other 2 chips Salamander and Fountain are just mediocre, so-so and situational at best I find. As for the MasterStyle program advance itself, it’s takes up a lot of space and 4 mega slots, otherwise they are useless as chip fodder. Battle Network 2 I don’t have any experience in those secret chips yet since they are only available through link net battles like HeroSword & etc.
The gaia blade actually goes beyond 999, loading in 4 mine* makes it do like 1300 damage, and if you're playing blue, replace a mine* with Bass+ gigachip and it does a whopping 1550 damage, or if you use BassGS, replace it with that and you have a 1700 damage mega chip, throw in a prism beforehand and watch as things die almost instantly, if it doesn't die, use folder back and repeat the process lmao
Oh wow! I didn’t know that. Yeah… Gaiasword/blade is super busted. Forgot about Bass. But you did mention BassGS along with FolderBak which requires GigaFolder installed in NaviCustomizer. It comes with an AutoBug but BugStop fixes that.
@@leongyuhinleong honestly I was mentioning that with a mindset of just having 1 of them is good because with folder back you can "theoretically" do 1300 damage how many times you like, I just prefer using folder back over other gigas cause utility
@@CrossKaizer17 I wish WoodSoul was implemented better in Battle Network 4 for the Gaia effect, rather than just consume the chip itself and only works one at a time.
When I was little, I wasn't able to figure out what those chips did, (Also, cause I didn't knew english) so I thought they were trash. For me, the most valuable one was Gaia Sword/Gaia Blade. They were really useful for taking down the guardian programs on the secret area.
Actually if you use stand out or salamander you CAN still let out a flame aura that hurts anyone who run into you Like fishy or dominerd if you time it correctly
Something to note and not sure (I may be misremembering), but Gaia Sword only takes the damage from the next chip while Gaia Blade takes damage from all chips that follow it. Wouldn't mind if someone fact checks that.
Iirc when StandOut/ Salamander is activated it will turn MegaMan’s body invincible and deal dmg to enemy/s that enter the panel which MgM is standing on. This will happen even when there are no holes to send fire into
I honestly think one of the reasons is because it doesn't have any panel advantage like other elements, like yeah sure having zap ring is nice and all but aqua is better to use to set up elec attacks with ice stage than the actual elec because it doesn't make you slip on ice
@@CrossKaizer17 even if it doesn't and I'm just remembering it wrong, all you really need is prism. That and a LOT of bosses in bn3 come with their own objects to abuse on top of it.
@@CrossKaizer17 but yeah honestly slipping on ice panels is irrelevant when ice stage+prism+lightning/bolt is typically enough to deal some serious pain.
The Fighter Sword series in BN2 feel like such a slap in the face outside of the Wii U VC version. You have to be in Normal Style to use them. Hubstyle won't work. And you can only get these chips normally by doing PVP if you and your opponent have 3 Stars. By that point, why would you ever want to use Normal Style again?
Do Lightning and Bolt dmg the objects that spawn the lightning? Could be insane dmg if the targeted object is a Prism and it does dmg the Prism. Just like its BN6 equivalent, ElecMan chip
God the contrast between Master Style and Master Cross PAs is so massive. Master Style requiring you to dedicate 3 Mega chip slots to literal bricks to use it is almost insulting when you compare it to almost any other BN3 PA. Meanwhile every single component of the Master Cross PA is both a Standard Chip and good on its own.
The difference is that the actual PA is significantly better in BN3 than in BN6 and if not for how busted BN3 PVP is with things like FlashMan and PlantMan and Folderback and the like, it would be a pretty powerful tool still
