That's so true! Yaris GR is a great light AWD car, doing amazingly well even stock. Few modifications can easily makes it way faster. It kinda reminds me the time of Impreza STI and Lan Evo versions, which were pocket rocket, for a affordable price, capable to compete with greater cars.
7 years ago Nakaya got a 1.00,6 min in a bone stock 991.1. Since then times of the GT3 dropped immensely due to sticky tires and aero inprovements, so I agree - a current GT3 RS should be at least on par with the Check Shop at Tsukuba, I guess it‘s even a bit faster
Yaris GR is already doing amazingly well on circuits all around the world. Even stock the Yaris has a great potential, even modified versions are able to follow closely a gt3 RS, it's something to recognize. The laptime difference is only few tens of second between the more powerful porsche with DCT transmission, in comparison with a MT less powerful Yaris. Well done and great job to Toyota and tuners.
You guys forgot one thing about Porsche. A very smooth performance wear off. There's no point in having fastest lap if your car pace wear off significantly in every next lap.
@@shize9ine True, the Yaris GR already shown it was capable to beat higher powered cars. It's definitely faster on the corners/curves, and maintain enough great speed on the straight lines. People often forgot Best motoring is doing reverse pole position, meaning the fastest started behind.
I could listen to that GT3RS all day! What a sound track! The m4 is in need of some better brakes to stop 1600kg+ and I think it would be much quicker over a lap.
Учитывая сколько стоит по деньгам Тайота Ярис, и при этом держаться на ровне с супер карами, то тогда я бы купил Тайоту ГР Ярис :) а БМВ да это круто, но тяжёлый слишком, и в цене дорогая и по надёжности я боюсь что быстро начнёт ломаться

the GT3 RS has a CEL on too......these are modded cars where this happens often. Maybe they have the catalytic converter removed or something like that.
They don’t push the m4 and Porsche hardly enough , always do that from the past, they have sponsors you know, that m4 can go twice as fast, you can see it before let the yaris past that he changed gears at 5 thousand rpms
@Chpspsa either you understand the japanese or you didn't put english subtitle on. M4 driver let yaris overtake him because that yaris keep pushing him and also he want to know if that yaris can keep up with porsche. that m4 weight was 1650kg compare with yaris only 1050kg. if you calculate power to weight ratio it almost identical
Reverse grid, or reverse pole, is when they take qualifying pole orders, in this case, the time attack times, and reverse the pole positions. Since the Yaris came in first (pole) during the time attack, it's reversed to start last. While officially the Yaris came in 2nd to the GT3RS, it actually had the best lap time in the low 58s, which was a full second faster than the GT3RS. Crazy that in a sense, a Yaris was capable of beating a GT3 O_o
This is Good question✌ Because liven up the Race !!! That grid is traditional rule in Hot Version Series. GR Yaris was mistake. Driver Sasaki couldn't shift change up.
What many germans and europeans don't understand about Hot Version specificly is that this is not a Lab level car review or comparison. This is just entertainment where tuners bring their cars in different stages to gain drivers feedback and to test the cars. After that they bring the cars again and again and every year there will be new "king". That particular tuner called "Assist" is a specialist for german cars, especially BMW's and has won multiple times and is very famous in Japan.
Porsche PDK auto mode is better than manual shifting with latest updates + GT3RS traction control is track oriented traction control wich allowes enough slip.
