I love this game if you have a good multiplayer game going it can last for hours.

And there goes Yamato. Putting its self in the middle of the fleets fire to be an easily sunk joke.

the key to this battle is the rocket boat. It's pretty much invisible to the Japanese. Just have it plod around on it's own and kill everything from range. Occasionally a torpedo boat might attack it, but it easily dodges torpedos.

in my opinion, the most beautiful ships of WW2, where the Yamato and another german one. its name started with a B if im not mistaken :p

They did put in the Iowa class. He just selected the Montana Class for his battleships but the Iowa Class was another option.

All u have to do is prevent the kamikaze attack on ur landing ships, sunk the Yamato BB, get air support, capture the base.

Its weird how they have a Yorktown-Class Carrier at the Battle of Okinawa. The only Yorktown-Class left was and present at the battle was the USS Enterprise. The vast majority present would have been Essex-Class CV's or Independence Class CVL's.

I'm playing the Xbox 360 version of this game and can't beat this mission. Even after the bases have turned blue and I've bombed the shit out the command centers they still don't show up as captured. Also the ships don't deploy landing crafts at all and there no indication that any land forces have landed at any point while I'm playing this mission. Are they automatically suppose to do that?

this is kind of late but heres a tip try sending fighters in fronet of your squad to protect the tankers and troop ship then have the heavy curiser and battleship take out land and sea wepons

I have captured all three bases and the Yamato is sunk, but still the game just doesn't end, and all my ships are south. Anyone know what I did wrong?

Good campaign. I prefer this mission over the others. The Japanese campaign wasn't too bad, but the voice acting... oh my god don't get me started on the voice acting. It was downright poor and they hired, without a shadow of a doubt, Americans to attempt to put on a Japanese accent. The American commander was too "in your face" but that wasn't too bad, I guess. But yeah, Japanese voice acting was 0/10.

In the ending of the Japanese campaign, your wife is...eh...portlier.

Destroy your own transports right at the beginning. You get a free cruiser, destroyer, and rocket ships.
