Ten pound porterhouse cooked over an insanely hot BBQ pit fire, then cooked slow and low for that perfect steak you can only get from a true Pit Master.
If you want a challenge, try assembling one of these grills ru-vid.comUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I am a technician by trade and the technical instructions were easy to follow. No reading, just pictures and diagrams. You assemble everything in 5 steps from the bottom up. Step #1 - Assemble 4 Legs and Wheels; Step #2 - Add the Front Cover and Cross Bars to support the frame; Step #3- Assemble the Burner to the Lower Grill Housing and install the knobs; Step #4 - Install the Side Burner and side shelf; and Finally Step #5 - Install the Upper Char- Broil Lid, Cooking Racks, 3 Burner Railings and Lid Handle. That's It and you're done in about 2 hours and 40 minutes. You have the option to pay for assembly after making the purchase - I would strongly suggest that you take it if you don't want to be bothered with this challenge. The only tool I used was a Phillips head screwdriver and a standard pair of pliers. The grill cost a little more because of the side burner, but this is what makes the grill so versatile and popular among backyard grillers. Have fun and enjoy!
I've never seen a 10 lb porterhouse steak roast ever. This is a thing of beauty! T-Bone and Porterhouse are my favorite steaks ever and the way you made this is just wonderful. That butter red wine reduction looks amazing. Thank you again Chef for another fabulous cook.
This is one of the best cooking shows I've ever seen. You have a talent to cook well and narrate perfectly. I learned alot! Thank you so much for this. Keep them coming.
Man, that looks SO good. I really like your approach. It seems unique compared to a lot of other BBQ channels on youtube, but I suspect that's because you're an actual pro instead of just an enthusiast :)
I watch a lot of cooking shows on RU-vid but I’m so glad I found your channel, subscribed yesterday after watching a few videos and glad I did. It’s just a pleasure watching you cook and I’m definitely learning a whole lot. Living in New Jersey BBQ is only best if you make it yourself. I’ve been smoking and grilling for many years but watching your videos I’ve seen all my mistakes. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Always a like from me 👍🏻 god bless and keep it going.
WOW thank you so much and I am very happy to hear that. This is my God given gift and I am so glad to share it with people like you. May God bless you too my brother.
I just discovered your channel. Can't wait for my next days to get into the game and start trying your recipes and methods. I feel like a good player waiting to show my family and friends that I got game. Meanwhile I am learning the playbook from one of the greats. Keep on giving to us your great knowledge
I just sent a comment earlier but after this vid, I’m hella happy I subscribed. I’ve never seen this method of cooking this and it looks like 5 star restaurant quality. Damn I wanna try this but I’m scared I’ll screw up this awesome piece of beef. That char and perfect look inside how I prefer, I don’t like blood running, this looks on point. I wish you the best on your channel brother, I’m hooked. You deserve to be working at a restaurant or having your own if you don’t already.
Thank you so much I am retired and just love cooking for friends a family. I come from a long line of family chefs. Start small on a 2 lb steak and work your way up. You got this.
Man that is one good looking porterhouse. I made steaks in a cast iron pan one time where I heated it up to 500° in the oven, seared it, then basted it just like you are doing here. It came out fantastic.
I just discovered your channel and was thoroughly impressed I not only like the subject matter of what you’re cooking the big porterhouse but I was extremely impressed with your voice your diction and your speech it was one of the best I’ve ever heard and we run an event center so I hear speakers from all over the country but believe me you have a talent and I will watch more of your videos thank you so much Randy Imel Five Oaks Lodge Jenks Oklahoma❤
Wow, and thank you so much. I am so happy to hear I come across clear to you and others such a great compliment. Thank you again and for watching and its positive feedback like this that keeps the wind in my sails God Bless.
Thank you, Jason, that's a mighty tall compliment lol. I live for grilling. My dad got me my fist Weber kettle at 11 years old and I was hooked ever since. I honestly would not know what to do if I had to go without my cookers, probably just die of BBQ loneliness, lol.
@@bbqsouthernstyle I concur Sir. I have a stick smoker, Weber Kettle, Old Smokey & Charbroil Propane grill. Nothing to compare to your collection. I'm a big fan of the Weber King Ranch. Looking forward to more of your tutorial vids. Keep up the good work. BTW I'm here in the deep South in Texas. Keep up the spectacular performance 👏 I pray that you and your family continue to receive God's Blessings 🙏
@@dsyukon Thank you Jason I am just sharing the gift the Lord gave me and so happy I can share it with people like you guys. God bless you and your family as well.
Omg that looks delicious. I love your videos and you’re easy to listen too. I hope your channel grows brotha. You should do a video of you introducing us to all your bbq toys. That would be so cool. Much luv from Richmond Tx
Just came across he channel never seen a big hunk of meat cooked like that. When you started with salt I was like wait a minute let's see where he going with this. OK, so you can learn something everyday. Thanks brother!
❤ Another master piece. When you take that meat off the grill is there a resting period before slicing it up? Also the bone looks perfect for making beef broth for a soup or stew. Again this is brilliant. Thank you for not only sharing but teaching people like me not only how to cook but the enjoyment of food. God bless you and yours.
YOU ARE THE MAN! I would love to hang with you and get some tips from you. You are blowing these other "Big name": BBqer's out of the water. I am so glad to find your channel and am going to recommend it to others.
Bro I never tried BBQ anything past burgers and dogs but you have sparked something I'm going to home depot to day to get a grill they got them on clearance 👍👍👍👍
Not exactly the route I would have went with the spices or preparation, but it doesn't mean that it isn't delicious.. There's always more than one way to "skin a cat"
