@@spinandmarty Nope! The band on the 2012 tour was a combination of Brian and Mike's touring bands. Al, David, Bruce, and Brian played instruments and all five Beach Boys sang lead and harmony vocals. Yes, the rest of the band also handled instrumentation and vocals, but don't act like the actual Beach Boys aren't there and involved.

Only Brian Wilson can think of slowing down the tempo of the song and put vocalization to accentuate the vocal harmony and instruments. That is brilliant. Brian Wilson is a musical genius!!!
I mean to be fair, it might have also been something more technical such as them slowing it down because the vocal line was too difficult in real time and then realizing that it sounds nice.

One night he had a dream that there was a halo over his head, which he interpreted to mean that angels were watching over him, giving him the strength to complete the sessions. Whether divinely inspired or inspired by the Fab Four, this song and others on "Pet Sounds" is some of Brian's finest work.
Have been listening to this song for a few years, when I'm in love, it makes my heart feel sweeter; when I'm single, it cheers me up. Now, with a distant lover in another side of the world, I could help but listening to this song and share it with him. I wish that every kiss was never-ending. Thanks.

Wow, man! That live performance is killer! Spot on!!! I wish the 50th Anniversary Blu Ray disc had the full concert. Maybe little transitions seeing them going from city to city performing. Brian's band with he Boys were fantastic!
@@Gunleaver yes he is closest to Brian Wilson who is somewhat off the camera. Mike Love is a camera ham . The worst singer in the group as usual at center of the camera shot .
I love The Beach Boys s music and all the songs they have sung over the years alot in the 60s ! They are a awesome band and do they proform anymore ? !
My long term partner recently split up with me, and even though I am still feel miserable about the whole thing, and wanted everything this song details, i cant help but forget about it all for just a few minutes and get lost in this wonderful song.
