I love mine, and hopefully you'll see it in one of my videos soon. It's so well made and sounds fantastic! So happy I was able to get one! You do amazing work!
Jeez....listening to this heavenly sound samples, it makes you wonder why there isn't a greater variety of tones/voicings with amps being made today? There's so many possibilities. Love this. (And that bass sound is 4-dimensional!)
Just put mine through it's paces and all I can say is superb job Steve! Thanks for the great packing job made it to the States in perfect shape. Awesome quality, very happy with it. Thanks again #017.
Absolutely blown away by how that sounds. It’s been wonderful watching the evolution of this amp and what it can actually do in it’s finalized form. I love the Sgt Pepper riff that you did although very surprised that you didn’t play the bass line from Think For Yourself off of Rubber Soul. Either way great amp. Also I still have a few questions about the 430 if it is okay to ask you on it still.
@@SteveWalsh730 No worries. I still have to finish up my layout drawings so my questions are ones that I don’t accidentally answer myself or ones that don’t repeat other questions that I’ve asked.
Sounds really, really good! Thanks by the way for playing the “Whole Lotta Love” riff (and correctly with the open D drone!). Would you say this can do the 4120 sounds? I reckon so as the 7120 seemed to be essentially the same…
I had a 430 for a while. I couldn't detect any real difference in the preamp vs the 730 apart from the lack of distortion, trem and reverb. They are more or less identical signal path wise.
The 4 series were bass amps, no distortion, trem or reverb. The 7s had all the goodies. The 4 series came in 30,60 or 120 watt version, the 7s in 15, 30, 60 and 120 watt versions. The power amps were almost identical between the 4s and 7s, as were the preamps overall. The 7s also came in 5 and 10 watt versions but they were fully valve and not really related to the larger ones.
The Dr Robert is a fantastic pedal. It's based on the normal channel of a 7 series. This one is based on the other channel with the added distortion bit.
Watched for about 3 minutes to hear the sounds. You have to hold a guitar and talk talk for a long time without playing anything and the beatles sound will come. Regards.
Can't really win on this one! If I don't talk and explain what they are , people ask loads of questions. One possible solution, do the talking at the end? LOL. All the best.
