that purple nobile hybrid sure did put on a show. It is hard as a hobbyist to get so many nodes to bloom at once, well done.

Your collection is amazing! And I love your setup. You have inspired me before and continue to do so. I showed your Phal wall to my husband so that he can try to recreate it. Can you point me to any video of yours where you speak on how to get your dendrobiums to bloom so well? As in what specifics you do on timing of stopping water and food? If you do that at all?

Great update! So many blooms, stunning. What's the temperature in your orchidroom where all the oncidium and miltonia orchids are?

Thank you, the minimum temperature is 18 degrees in the greenhouse and the orchid room. During the day it might get up a bit if it is a nice sunny day. But it will not go over 26 - 27 degrees in the orchid room.

this is quite a collection! how long it takes to water and take care of them all?!

Yes I do have a lot LOL.. It takes me about 2,5 hours to water those in pots, that's with preparing the water and adjusting pH etc. The vanda's I do in the weekend, that takes me about 30 minutes. :D

May I ask you if you bought that Miltoniopsis that is blooming in the corner, from ebay-seller olympus? - I had a similar looking one, also nicely fragrant (roses). Unfortunately I lost it during renovation of our apartment. I wish to find it again, but so far I couldn't do it

I needed to check my notes LOL.. I didn't remember it but no, it comes from a local seller here in the Netherlands (Reinhardt Orchideeën). It is a beauty! So sad you lost it! I hope you will find it again.

E.J. was it you I saw that uses that fungus? If so do you use sink water with chlorine in it?

Yes I do use it and I love using it, it looks to me that the plants LOVE it! But never use it with water that does contain chlorine. It will kill the bacteria's. I only use my RO water for my plants. Rainwater should be fine too.

My yellow Variabilis is starting with buds and it has mealies can I still spray them without losing buds

I do use Isopropyl alcohol and never had any problems, so if you have that type of alcohol as well, you should be fine using it....

@@YnseSchaap no water, just pure out of the bottle. I spray them. I have 96 procent. So they can handle a bit lol. But you never know, maybe try one bud first?
