Your poor generation has been so starved for good music, real music, that when you hear it, it overwhelms you. What we took for granted back in the 70s it's like manna from heaven to this generation. I'm glad you had a chance to listen to the wonderful pop music that we had from back in the day
first time singing this live. done in 1 take. donated all rights and royalty to UNICEF Children's org. and has now raised over 10 million for them. fun fact. best Harmonies ever.
Girlfriend I have seen so many people react to this song. I have seen grown men get teary-eyed just like you’re about to. Their voices take you to another place. Their harmonies and their voices are just unbelievably beautiful. I’ve never heard anybody sound as good as these guys. My favorite group in the universe!
How deep is your love, is another great bee gees song. They just couldn’t write a bad song. Sadly the lead singer in the middle, is the only bee gee left.
You cannot & will never ever get a better line up than The Bee Gees. Pure talent & the amount of hits they wrote for other artists is unbelievable.Long live The Bee Gees.
It usually takes me awhile to really love ❤️ a song… 🎶 I usually have to hear it a lot… but “to much Heaven” by The Bee Gees grew on me the first time I heard it.. I still never get tired of it…
I decided to go on this journey to watch all of the younger generation of today reaction to the music I grew up with, and I’m loving every second of it.. Welcome to real music
My senior year in high school. Girlfriend and I were on the rocks. I cried hearing this song sitting in my '56 Ford convertible as it played over the car radio. I do not have the girl, I still have the car. I married the true mate of my soul. We both tear up together as we hear this great song.
I'm 64 I grew up listening to the Bee Gees all of my Teenage years it's so beautiful to see the younger generation reaction to what we took for granted so many fantastic memories.
This song was one of the biggest hits of the summer of 1979, and I just loved it. I just remember hanging out in my room, reading, knitting, and listening to the radio. I had a sleep over with my two best friends that summer, too, the one and only sleep over my mom ever allowed me to have. That was also the summer I saw the Bee Gees in concert, the Spirits having Flown tour, still one of the best shows I have ever seen, and I've seen a LOT of shows. They made my summer that year. I always said if sunlight dancing on a lake could make a sound, it would sound just like this song.
Honey when I was a kid back in the early 60s my family ran into the Bee Gees on the road in Nashville TN my mother's younger sister was with us the Bee Gees were driving a rag top Chevy Corvair they were flirting with my mother's sister ,will never forget that
She stopped making this video. Then she went back, locked the door and played that song over and over, while she cried... People have been doing that for over 40 years. I remember catching my best friend (a Heavy Metal music lover) crying like a baby, listening to this alone in his car.
Barry the oldest of the 3 brothers is the last of his talented brothers. They were the most Amazing were singer-song writers of all time. Their harmonies can not compare to any other. Sadly Robin, Maurice and Andy are lost, since their passing. 😔😔
Barry….flowing locks of hair, skin tights sedgefield jeans, white dress shoes, shirt unbuttoned to the belt, gold medallion hanging…..pure 70’s gansta. When he sang on stage…gansta elevated to panty dropper super hero status.
This reminds me of making out with my favorite guy...wonderful memories!!! I'm so glad they were a part of my lifetime! Good, wonderful music...THE BEE GEES!
Actually Barry has a very deep baritone voice, as does his brothers. They were exceptionally talented, the fallsetto's they did not realize until years recording that they could do it. Cheers.
I watch all these videos of people's reactions and I'm thinking where have you been. That being said I am almost 50yrs old, so this was popular when I was five maybe six years old playing from my father's 8 track, and been a fan of the Bee Gees ever since. But how is it that this wasn't passed on to the younger generation as I passed it on to all four of my children years ago. Just boggles my brain.
That’s my question too they were all over the place in the eighties been around since the sixties, and yet there are people that never heard of them? But is nice to see people reacting to the sound wich was amazing 👍🏼
Always love watching people react to the music we grew up with yeah that's their real voices nothing's covered up that's live you can't hardly see that with anyone else
She left before she started crying or calmed down or something. Def had an effect. It happens almost every time in reaction videos when someone hears Bee Gees for the first time.
You just fell in love like so many others! The Bee Gees were the greatest ever! Their music touches your heart and soul ❤️, watch Fanny be tender with my love 💓
Oh yes! I had such a crush on Barry growing up. I was gonna marry him when I grew up. 😍😍. He was flawless. From that gorgeous hair to to that mouth full of beautiful sparkling white teeth! (I swear I he must've had 15 more than the everybody else. I still swoon watching him.❤❤
Of course it was legend. They donated the millions it made to UNICEF in 1979, was invited to the White House by then president Jimmy Carter, who they gave one of their trademark Bee Gees leather jackets to, and received his appreciation for raising public awareness of the United Nations' "Year of the Child". Even at 65 it's hard for me to listen to it and not tear up.
First off you are a star ⭐✨⭐ girl really you need your own TV Show no joke love your reaction videos but your own TV Show is perfect for you you have it all going for you the looks, the attitude, the personality, your confident, you have awesome style of your own,not jaded , pretty cool chick I would watch you ok you do a fabulous job on here but you should have a bigger platform your own TV Show in prime time one day I'm going to be flipping through TV channels and you're going to be on you watch good luck 🤞 God bless you and your family peace ✌️🕊️ and love be safe
This is the definition of what Music is. The biggest majority of the Crap that's played today is not music at all but simply what sells. The true definition of most Rap Music is a means of making money in the music industry without actually making Music.
I remember when this song came out my older siblings played it over and over. Check out Andy Gibb as well, the youngest Gibb and first to die, the oldest is the only one still alive.
Hi sushi thanks for the review you asked if we had any memories to this song i do in high school my girlfriend and i had our first time while this song was playing she began crying afterwards it was very emotional for her i married that girl when we hit out of school 5 years later she was killed on s car accident we had no kids and I've never married again this song is all i have left of her thank you so much for reacting to it good luck in everything you do
I was in High School, this song was played in the disco club I remember in 1987 at this club I went to in Atlanta, it made you want to do the wild thing., this song never gets old, it gets better every time I listen to , I was 15 when this song came out, and 23-24 at the disco when I heard it to remember it in the Atlanta disco.
Every time I listen to this song, I get teary eyed. I can listen to it over and over. There will never be another time or song like it. I heard that the Bee Gees donated the proceeds of this song to UNICEF. Thank you for not interrupting the song too much like others do during their reaction videos. Your reaction was very appropriate and how most who listen to this song feel. Good job!!!
The Bee Gees the best Ever and their range of voices mesh beautifully. I grew up their ere today's music cannot come close to theirs they was in a class by themselves.
the thing about the music of the 60's and 70's: the great music wasn't from just a few bands/soloists - there was a slew of fantastic bands with incredible musicians and singers and music - hear them all day long - and there was no auto tune! just beautiful lyrics into music.
Hey Yes it's always like that when we discover what our ancestors did and we realize that maybe the music of now is not or no longer up to what has been done. But discovering the past also allows you to tell yourself that's what my parents or rather my grandparents listened to in their youth and to take a very pleasant musical slap.
I don't know your real name so I'll just say.... Miss Sushi you have just witnessed the greatest vocal and songwriting group of all time!!!! Always listen with the heart!!!
