Ingredients:
Beetroot (roughly chopped) - 1
Beetroot juice
Orange juice - 3 tbsp
Sugar - 3 tbsp
Salt - ½ tsp
Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
Butter - 1 ½ tbsp
Agar agar powder - 1 tsp
Method:
To make beetroot juice:
1. Transfer 1 roughly chopped beetroot to a blender.
2. Blend smooth.
3. Strain to filter out any solid particles.
4. Add little water (about ½ cup).
5. Beetroot juice is ready.
6. Do not throw the beetroot residue left in the filter - you can use this to make chapatis (enhance your chapati dough by adding this and follow the regular procedure to make delicious chapatis).
7. Transfer the juice to a pan on low flame.
8. Add 3 tbsp each of orange juice along with sugar.
9. Add ½ tsp of salt, 1 tsp of black pepper powder, 1 ½ tbsp of butter and 1 tsp of agar agar powder to this.
10. Bring this to boil.
11. Turn off the flame.
12. Transfer this to a container.
13. Leave this in the freezer for about 25 to 30 minutes.
14. Transfer this to a blender.
15. Blend smooth.
16. Transfer to a squeeze bottle dispenser.
17. Add little water if required.
18. Beet fluid gel is ready.
19. Now plate according to your liking by placing some banana slices on top of the fluid gel.
20. Enjoy a burst of flavours with this delightful beet fluid gel.
