Although I’m a Muslim, I followed your teachings for years now. Since it was done in a small classroom with a few students. I want to keep following it, but I truly can’t pay a monthly subscription.
You are most welcome here. There is no charge to subscribe and follow. Channel Members receive early releases of videos, and some special content, but the vast majority of the lectures are fully accessible to the public.
@@HenryAbramsonPhD Thank you, Mr Abramson. Everyone should follow your teachings. It’s refreshing and honest. Because of you, I went ahead and bought books talking about the Hebrew History. Thank you, sir. May God bless you.
What a lovely posting. Those were terrible times indeed. My thoughts go at once to the first line of the Polish national hymn: Jeszcze Polska nie zginęła. God make it so for all. They're not yet lost. Amen
Amen! What a powerful ray of hope in this dark hour set before us. May Hashem bring forth such a miraculously profound deliverance to the 10/7 victims that a new date is seared into our hearts and mind… the date of their deliverance. 🙏❤️
If I may add. A lot of good came out from 10-7. Unity among the Jewish people. Many are coming back to our faith. Great miracles took place that day for many that were saved. A lot to be grateful. We are witnessing the promises ( הבטחות ונחמות ) being fulfilled.
Watched with my family, we were deeply moved. We continue to pray for Israel and release of all hostages. I'm reminded of Ishmael and Isaac, who reconciled at their father's funeral. Praying for forgiveness 🙏🏼
Hello. We must also remember October 7, 1973. The same details as October 7, 2023. The big Yom Kippur celebrations. The main difference was: in 2023 there was a huge political problem in Israel, the turmoil caused by Netanyahu's proposals to "reform" israeli judicial system. Israel was into a social swirl and unrest. If there's one thing Israel can't afford, it's losing surveillance of its surrounding enemies. And this happened, sadly. An analyst here in my region also highlighted that two more factors occurred: (1) Hamas used the inconceivable, old analog system of communication (personal letters and envoys instead of communication technology in order to have conversations with its allies in Iran, in Qatar and elsewhere). Israel was 100% confident that it would be able to capture all Hamas communications and was deceived by Hamas, in this respect. (2) the unexpected factor, the element of surprise. Land and air suicide invasion (paratroopers).
I'm 71 yrs old and as a young person I knew older Jews with numbers on their arm. I watched documentaries and read horrific details of these Nazi monsters. NOTHING remains of these monsters and so shall it be with Hamas. This story is amazing and I'm blessed to have heard it. These women went to their death as heroes which had to shake the Nazis who witnessed it. The resilience of G-d's chosen speaks for itself. Thank you Rabbi :o)
I love this message. God bless you from a Judeo-Christian who loves the Jewish People, who is in love with a Jewish Messiah, who loves and stands with Israel, and who knows unequivocally that ALL ISRAEL SHALL BE SAVED. So it is written, and so it shall be. ❤
@@HenryAbramsonPhD It really is. I posted a link on my Mastodon account. The problem we are having now is people and the MSM are repeating RW/Kremlin/Hamas/Iranian propaganda narratives without telling the full story.
Thank you Dr. Abramson for this beautiful video. The story of Oct 7th 1944 when those Jewish women courageously sang the national anthem as they were being forced into the gas chamber was an act of heroism and inspiration, in my view at least. Never would I have equated that act to 'a stiffed neck people', until now. Thank you for teaching us a new definition of 'stiffed neck people'. Wow. On a brief side note, the ICJ just ordered that all (terrorist) groups in Gaza to 'immediately and unconditionally release all of the hostages in Gaza'. They ordered that first before they asked Israel to abide to 6 requirements to prevent a genocide. As painful as those 6 requirements may sound to the Jewish people, they didn't order a stop to the war itself. Which suggests that the ICJ recognizes the failure of leadership of Hamas in Gaza, and that Hamas needs to go - just try and preserve as many Palestinian civilian lives as possible (which I believe Israel is trying to do). Point being here: the ruling isn't as bad as it initially sounds. This war will end soon imho, with Hamas gone and out of power. And that's something Israel, the ICJ, and world leaderships seem to agree on. My apologies for rambling on Dr. Abramson. But something good is going to come out of this.
I’m also thinking of my mother’s father’s family and their destiny. Were they together when they were killed in Aushwitch? Were they also singing Hatikvah during the end? Or at least Kel Maleh Rachamim?
Sadly some of my extended Klein family from Hungary were killed at Auschwitz. The speed at which the Nazi’s killed the Hungarian Jews in the final days of the war is horrifying. This is a wonderful story, thank you. Let’s try to end this with as few innocent Palestinian and Jewish lives lost as possible.
Recently learned On 10/06/1944 my cousin Werner Wolffberg was 13 and murdered in Auschwitz with his parents. I just started learning about the Auschwitz uprising on 10/7.
Just listened to the Hatikvah, sung in Wikipedia (1920) and realised why it meant so much to the women of October 7 1944: it expresses the unique combination of lamentation (sung in the minor key) with hope in God’s mercy as they looked eastwards to Zion. Resurgent antisemitism in the West is determined to take that hope away, but God’s word promised Abraham that Israel will be in everlasting possession of the land: And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.” (Gen. 17:8)
Yesterday, we were watching the pirates of the carribeans with my daughter and there was a similar scene. Extremely chilling, even in a comedy. I can't even fathom how people can be so cruel.... maybe when you are attacked and you have to defend yourself, you can do horrible things in the heat of the action, but calmly calling your superiors to watch the execution of women? "Hell is empty and all the devils are here."
Thank you very much, professor Henry Abramson, for telling the tragic & powerful story of the Sonderkommando and the victims. Some of the Sonderkommando survived -they were normally gassed every 3 months because they were the actual witnesses of the extermination process in the 6 extermination camps (Auschwiz-Birkenau, Treblinka II, Bełżec, Chełmno, Sobibór & Majdanek): Filip Müller, Dario Gabbai, Shlomo Venezia, Richard Glazar, and their testimonies are heartbreaking and truly horrific. Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day 2024. Never again. We remember. Never forget. 💙🔯
All the support from Australia. It is it amazing to see the whole “continent” ( all states and all parties, Governments and oppositions) supporting Israel . ❤️🇮🇱🇦🇺❤️
If only that were true. The Albanese (Greens) Labor federal government is the most anti-Semitic in living memory. They are a disgrace. I hope the noisy minority that they represent are but a few. Peace to you Peter. Peace to you Dr. Abramson.
Neither the channel owner nor most who visit it care. There is no ongoing ğënöcide as far as they are concerned. The whole world sees it but they don’t. It’s the Zionist bubble. My recent comment strangely attracted no responses until I used a different account and realized it isn’t even showing. In other words this sad rabbi shadow-banned me so my comments would only be visible to me and no one else. It wasn’t an untruthful comment, only a very uncomfortable truth about the reality in Gaza. Do I truly expect any different from Zionists? Nope.
As long as in the heart within a Jewish soul still yearns and onward towards the end of the east an eye still gazes towards Zion our hope is not yet lost The hope two thousand years old to be a free nation in our land the land of Zion and Jerusalem
A horrifying and yet beautiful event. It is no surprise that Jews are so strong and resilient. May they all finally achieve the peace and security they so richly deserve.
1. Israel wouldn't commit Genocide. 2. It is Really Good to Hear there is already a remedy to afflictions. It completes and compliments what I have learned: No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
like you said, there are many horrible dates in history like the 15th of july the last day of the first crusade. For that I think Israel has the right to defend itself. I pray for a peaceful solution.
While I am saddened by the attack on our people on October 7th,I feel as if we don’t listen to the Palestinian perspective enough to figure out why this even happened. When you look at the conditions they’ve been subjected to their entire lives, you can see why exactly they don’t like the state of Israel. Not that that’s a justification but the fact is this didn’t happen in a vacuum, the occupation of Gaza and Palestine as a whole must end, that is a simple fact. And the state of Israel must be done away with to make way for a secular state that can promise rights for both Jewish people and non Jews regardless of ethnicity or race.
So in order for the Palestinians to get what they want, we have to eliminate Israel? Hey I have an idea, why can't the Palestinians have sovereignty and live in peace with the already existing state of Israel? When the Palestinians stop wanting to eliminate Israel, all these problems end.
I assume sir you are more than 70 years old.. and as you said a historian... my two questions are, did you read about Jew's and israelies historical mentions and lessons learned in the Quran?.. what good is being knowledgeable.. yet not acting accordingly? With all respect...
@ems4884 Red Army was the liberator of Auschwitz. Why not say it directly? When you say that Auschwitz was liberated by the Allies , it comes across as any party on the Allies' side. China and France were part of the Allies. So whom do you have in mind by the Allies that liberated this concentration camp? This is a nifty way of substituting facts.
