thanks for being the only tattoo teacher on youtube who's clear, to the point, doesn't read a script, doesn't have a coked-up unpleasant voice, uses the language precisely, and generally supplies the information with intelligence and organization. you don't spend 45 minutes when 8 will do. you don't waste our time with protracted intros. seriously it's a tough terrain out there -- many thanks.
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial there are 3D Downloads you have to pay for... i just have a free Version, cause in my opinion, it's more a playful Thing but not really necessary for daily use in regular everyday tattooing process -only useful for rare specific Demonstration of, for example,a whole leg sleeve design, to the customer to show the surround view. But anyway, i had fun to try it... Sorry, for my english 🙈
One of the biggest issues I’m having, is different areas of the body, and stretching them properly, it’d be nice to see different positions we can put them in to help with stretching
Get a friend or your partner on the table, practice positioning and stretching techniques to find what works and doesn't, no need to put in any ink. Use the bodies joints to naturally pre-stretch the area. I'm a Massage Therapist and use a lot of that knowledge and similar positioning during tattoos, if you're having trouble finding tattoo specific videos have a search for massage therapy positioning.
@@Violaetor it’s not just position, but it’s a different stretch.. tattooing a boob or an ass can be so difficult, but I know there’s little secrets that make sum of those areas, like taking your headrest of your tablet when doing throats, but with boobs etc I don’t have any input on certain areas
@Cam-vd6wj the 'trick' with the headrest is that you are literally putting the neck flexors into a stretch. That's what I'm saying, look up positioning for stretches. Glutes, knee up to the chest or hanging off the table, breast (inner) flat on the back is a natural stretch, (outer) sidelying position.
My issue is adjusting the volts and stretching properly on certain parts of skin but the more I tattoo areas I haven't the better I'll get thanks for the info ty
@@bobbyrobert397 dude RU-vid hasn’t been pushing my videos at all. Idk why lol a lot of people have been saying the same thing. Thanks for the support and god bless you too!
I'm new and my biggest issue with my lines is I just realized my RL is too small so I wasn't getting the boldness from my outline that I was wanting so I have to order larger sizes to fit my preference. I've only watched 2 of your videos so far and already been so helpful
Fan of your videos, I've been since I started tattooing on my own 18 months ago. Started by myself watching your videos, tattooing my leg. Still have a lot to learn, but now I work full time in a studio, doing what I love 🥲 so, thank you for all the work and good information that you put into these videos, can't thank you enough (and sorry for my English)
Shading but in depth details about transferring from one shade to another and making it look real smooth like hair grease. Examples: portraits, realism etc. please and thank you 🙏🏽
Boy.. great line work.. an area that returning tattoos will tell you the facts about your play. I love the bishop liner, but on a daily i tend to use the packer, especially with smaller needle groupings.. if its a bigger grouping ill use the liner but its not always necessary Great video.. couple decades down the line & id love to say i get every line right every day.. but its not true.. i do think lining isnt something that should be rushed.. slow down, take your time.. explain this to your clients.. theyll be fine once they realise your aiming at giving them the best long term healed ink thar you can.. I use round shaders for lining equally as much as i use liners, if not more nowadays.. you gotta hit em from above though, not 45°.. but hey.. tge end result is what i look for.. before anyone comments with a different opinion.. knock yiurself out in how ever you do it.. over time i just found what works for this tattooist 😉 Great content brother
Thank you ! I agree. It’s not something that you will get right Everytime. I do think tho it’s important to understand how to hide and fix errors. Minimizing errors by taking your time is crucial for sure ! Thanks for watching !
Awesome information your videos are some of the best out here for any level of Tattoer, diggin the beard man for sure. Hope you are doing well man. As always keep it up your the best
Thank you so much for the tips and tricks and between you and benfisher yall are the best teachers that I have found yall make learning so easy so thank you so much for that and your content is just awesome
Thank yu bruv i been doing heavy practice and due diligence with pen and paper, fake skin, oranges, even my own skin before I'm willing to tattoo someone else and even then I'm limiting myself to fonts and ease my way into traditional style and so forth while learning both my coil and rotary machines. These videos are saving me the scoldings from the future apprenticeships I want so much but still am working very hard for. Thank you 🙏🏾
thank you my friend I like the way you explain and I fill my free time by making pictures on fake leather I like you explaining how to set up a rotary machine
Hi man, can you help me ? I have one question and its make me crazy. So lets me try to explain you, the dermis has blood vessels, so even if the ink is placed correctly in the dermis, some of that will enter into that vessels, and while you are tattooing it can cause a strange effect from the ink if spread and travel through these vessels. But that's not a blowout, right?
What about if your lines look scratchy and not a solid black line ? Is that apart of not stretching the skin tight enough or do the cartridge need to be changed ?
I like to tattoo myself. So do you have any tips on stretching the skin? Its was really tough on the back, using my legs to stretch the skin on my forearm for 4 hours or so. I also like doing blackwork because its easier to hide lining mistakes! Great video btw & thanks for great tips! 🤟
The only thing I’ve ever tattooed on myself are my legs in easy spots. I’m not a gymnast lol That’s a tough one. Sorry I don’t have any tips for ya! Glad you like the videos tho!
if I began with a harder hitter for example AVA Ep7 as a straight beginner, mostly interested in working on my fine line will this till be a good option?
Please Sir... Could you please explain this video from beginning to end because i don"t understand english very well. And then i have to look at the translation.
Also, do you think using a smaller needle knowing that with time the lines will get bolder. Is a good idea? Like the picture of your pumpkin girl. Instead of using a bigger needle to get the end result there and then. Use a smaller needle knowing with aging it’s going to get bolder. Idk if it makes sense but would love to know if I’m on the right track.
I see what you are saying. But it’s really all up to what you want it to look like. Thinner liners show imperfections much easier as well so you need to know how to put it in the skin. I like bold lines and I just make sure to design accordingly
I just started tattooing but for some reason da ink ain’t holdin…any pointers? I thought I wasn’t goin deep enuff but one tattoo look blew out da other looked perfect till it healed but da ink didn’t take.
What voltage are you using and what needle groupings? Might want to slow down your hand speed and do small tight circles slower that you think. Or turn up your voltage to match your hand speed. Also, you cannot overlook good quality ink.
Some People get keloid on all little cuts or even a ear Piercing...thats a condition of a Person you cannot prevent in a special tattooing technique...
