I am personally excited about this wheel. They just took and shrunk down the Heroes body and frame work and added the wheel and guts of the tesla, then added suspension. Having been in possession of both the Tesla T2 and T3, the T4 is going to be most the, dare I say, the perfect wheel for playing in the dirt. I love My RS to rough house on but it can be a bit heavy a d large to move around some corners and obstacles on the trail at times. The agility of the T4 looks amazing.... Thanks for the straight forward honest reviews brother. So appreciate the real reviews as apposed to the usually scripted and guided reviews. You is legit brother. I dig it. So keep it up my man. GO GEORGE GO!!!!!
yeah honestly i cant see much of Ny reason to get a v11 or s18 while this exists, especially if it comes in at ths lower 2200 pricepoint. thats a steal
Thank you George. You ruined my immediate finances, confirmed my expectatioins and made my day all in one video... This was a long awaited review, now i just have to save up like a mad man on a mission... 😁 I bet it will have decent range too.
Ive got an mten 3 and a nikola. the mten is in a different league in terms of weight. It is incredibly easy to manage, put in cars, easily in the passenger area with you, carry with other things in your hands, etc. Id think the t4 is about as heavy as the nik. They're both manageable, but the mten is worth grabbing to take out the trash at the end of the driveway and things like that. But, it's not the best around town, slow, sketchy with traffic.
Nice . Just wish it had the same 134v motor as the big brother lol. My ideal wheel would be a 18 incher with the power of the master. Perhaps in a few more years
idk, that requires taller packs, more weight, less proven technology. the beauty of this wheel is its small size but robust performance. if you need a faster longer range wheel you want a bigger tire, bigger battery, heavier wheel
@@GoGeorge The rim on the master is a lot bigger than the t4. U really don't wanna have a smaller less robust tire on a wheel in general. Since that will increase the risk of flats and damage to the rim.
Hey George, amazing video as always. After watching your vid, I bought a Master. Do you hear the clicks 8:24 every time you hit a bump. My Master does the same. What is causing that sound? Also, I'm about to purchase the DNM shock you recommended. Will that shock handle a 270lbs rider?
probably not, unfortunately for larger riders your really more limited in your shock options. the dnm 38rc maxes out at 280lbs of pressure. i ride at 265lbs. that said i can only share my findings for the ex20. the master may have a different linkage ratio
Niice, I have Tesla T3, and I love the power and nimbleness. T4 looks like perfect 16inch fun wheel. Now I have V12HT and it is a little sleepy, I have to lean hard to get the performance. But the 2800W motor has the power, built quality is awesome, IP rating very needed. It is just better commuter in my opinion. Nice handle, built quality, mudguard, huge hybrid tire is very comfy and versatike, stable at 35 Mph. I will not sell my V12Ht for this, because I do not need the suspension and it is better built wheel in my opinion. T3 si just light and small wheel for shoping, etc., T4 is definatelly very different wheel than T3. Still T4 for the money is awesome!
@@GoGeorge I got to ride V11, S18 and Hero and I still wouldn't trade my V12HT for any of them. V11 is a pogo stick with no torque, S18 is just an uncomfortable mess of a wheel and underpowered and Hero was the best of the 3 but it seemed to bottom out easily. Overall I wasn't impressed by the first gen suspension wheels but I also think the T4 will be hugely popular.
@@JeskaRain Agreed- on all fronts. I have my v12ht with massive pads , and i can get all sorts of magic out of the wheel. Its endlessly fun and takes all of the beating.
begode irons out the bugs and keeps the quality up and they are going to start to corner the market. I love my 16X but i doubt ill buy a non suspension wheel again.
the suspension topping out i believe although i have been told its that white motor cable hitting the frame. either way i woyld be able to eliminate that if i had the time to tune it up proper. this was just a short demo so my main concern was riding it not tuning it
what? the real 3m 300lse tape doesnt need anything, it just sticks right on. i got the same knockoff tape on my ex20. when you look at the sheets side by side with a real sheet of 3m 300sle tape you can see the text is diffefent fonts and different colors. its just counterfeit tape
its topping out , needs either a slower rebound adjustment which i just didnt do as i like it fast, or it needs a dampening on the top to prevemt the clunk . not really a big deal unless the sound annoys you though
Put some gear on testing a new wheel George! Love that wheel... I have said to others it is like a Nikola with suspension... which I have... I want a T4 now and it's all your fault haha
the 4 battery cables lead up to the junction box and the front headlight/motor cable go up to the control box. they are all wrapped in waterproofing sleeves. i dont see it being an issue unless you have children who will tug at them
