Vishy Anand had a phenomenal final day at the Tata Steel Chess India 2018. He scored 7.5/9 and with a total of 12.5/18 tied at the top with Hikaru Nakamura. What he didn't know when the final round ended was that he had to now fight for the first place with blitz playoffs against Nakamura.
Vishy won the blitz match with a score of 1.5-0.5 against one of the best blitz players in the world. How did Vishy do it? We have the video of both the blitz games of Anand vs Nakamura and also some exclusive scenes of Vishy Anand preparing for the match, Aruna Anand checking the games on her mobile and then Anand and Aruna meeting each other once the game ended.
It's a video that gives you the atmosphere of the entire thriller towards the end! Do not miss it.

This is to inform that Vishy had also thanked Prag for his draw against Naka in the stage itself in the speech the speech is incomplete (may be due to some circumstances). I was there at the auditorium and witnessed the whole speech of Anand, truly a good one.

0:25 Aronian- "It's same for me, a draw or a loss" *Without wasting any time* Anand replied "I know it". Anand was so excited. He was now more worried about Naka and praggu match. His reaction simply tells u what it means to have a slight hope of winning the tournament. So awesome. He might be getting old but his greed for winning is still of a teenager. I remember him fisting his both hands in air after he won Riyadh blitz tournament last year. So down to earth. That's our Indian culture.

Anyone Wondering how prag helped anand to win the Blitz Tourny. Here's how "If Prag managed to beat Hikaru Anand would be the champion. If Hikaru won the game he would win the tournament and if the game was drawn, then we would go into the playoffs between Anand and Nakamura. It seemed likely that Nakamura would win the game. Not only did he have the white pieces but in the knight endgame he had more space and was clearly better. But Pragg defended with all his might and magically managed to hold."

It was a comfortable win for Vishy, no pressure at any moment! Also, for all young lads and fellow players in the tournament, they have great learnings from Vishy. Hearty congrats to Vishy. The officials also organised the event beautifully. Great job. Special thanks to chessbaseIndia channel. However, one feedback, when you are showing a crucial match, please don't keep changing the angle, please don't fast forward, please don't show anything other than players and board, like you did in the end. Now I know you want to capture emotions and all, capture them and show them later in the video. I am telling this because you did great job in rest of the tournament but you used extra creativity in the final game. We want to see full raw game with good camera angle till the players shake their hands and a few moments after that. Please consider this feedback and we love your channel as usual.

At 7:03, what's wrong with cxb5? Undoubling the c pawns with a capture seems so natural and if axb5 Rxb5 or Qxb5 going up a pawn and if he doesn't take back, then bxa4 secures the queenside and creates a passed pawn. What am I missing?

g4 pawn is simply hanging which Naka defended by h5. Vishy missed hanging pawn previous move. Instead of Qd2, Qxg4 would have just a simple pawn up position for white.
