Change the belt on the Titan T3200, Simplicity S20EZM and many others.

I needed a new vacuum to replace my 12 year old Miele U1 upright but didn't want to break the bank again. The guy at my local vacuum store said these were my best "bang for the buck" bet. I couldn't find any info on then so I went into debt again temporarily and bought a SEBO X4 Automatic. Probably not going to regret that decision I bet. Thanks for the video!

Hey Daniel! While this is a very decent vacuum for the price, the Sebo X4 is in a different league altogether. I think you certainly made the right long-term decision. Enjoy that Sebo!

I like the overall design of these and how basic they are. I did some digging and found out that they are made by EUP, the same company that makes most of the Bissells and even tried their own brand in the United States called Everstar, which primarily made Panasonic Kenmore upright knockoffs.

Awesome to know they are made by EUP. I could see the Bissell DNA... it makes sense, because bagged Bissell vacs are my sub-$150 vacuum of choice. These are super simple and surprisingly trouble free. Thanks for the information! I'll have to research those Everstars...

Nice to see how these work! BTW, somewhat unrelated question - do Sebo Central Vac wands work with their canisters (an E3 I recently purchased came with one rather than upper plastic wand I've seen in all demos of that vac. I suspect it leaks at handle) ?

Good question! The central vac and E3 wands are the same. The part was upgraded due to an electrical issues a small number of the wands. That issue caused Sebo to redesign the wand, put out a bulletin to dealers and just generally take care of the issue the only way that Sebo knows how... properly! So if yours is metal on both halves, you have the updated unit.

Just curious: Where do David Vacuums fit into the upright universe? They seen to be "updated" Orecks.

The David vacuums are private labeled Riccar Supralites (CleanMax Zoom, Tornado Roam, Simplicity Freedom, etc.). They are mechanically identical.

how is there so many versions of this vacccume, some that arent even from brands owned by tacony, i get carpet pro and simplicity sharing a design being under the same umbrella but what about fuller and titan and the others ? who originally designed it and what ones are knock offs, are they all idenital or just very very similar ?

Good question! Fuller was licensed to Tacony back in the day, so that is where that model came from. In fact, all the brands this is sold under (Carpet Pro, Fuller, Clean Max, Powr-Flite, Simplicity, Titan) either have Tacony as a parent company or are buying the vacuums directly from Tacony. They are the originator of the design. Features will differ (like steel vs composite brushroll), but they are all coming from the same factory with Tacony has the wholesaler.

Hello- does the Simplicity 20EZM use the same belt as Simplicity 5, 6, 7, and 8000 Series? I cant find a 3579 labeled belt for the 20EZM.. I didn't want to buy directly from Simplicity. They charge $21 for two...

Yes, you can use Symmetry or 6000 series Simplicity belts on this. Also, Titan T3200 belts will fit.

It does. The metal one is not a Riccar level metal brushroll. I actually prefer the plastic on this model because it is better balanced. Just personal preference.

Have you ever had to put the clear lower hose back into the body of the machine there's a gasket on top of it and the black holder that that is held on by screws it is a horrible design the hose keeps sliding back down so the gasket won't meet the black piece so it's losing suction

Remove the hose, then install the black cover with the gasket. Then reinstall the hose. I think that should address it if I'm understanding you correctly.
