Prior owner had quite a few problems getting the car to start, idle, and drive. A found several problems attributing to this but the main one was due to the vacuum booster causing a major manifold vacuum loss.
The prior owner sent in this booster at the last minute to a known Atlanta area company specializing in vintage brake boosters. Well they created a new problem with the poor rebuild job.
So often now we are faced with doing it our selves due to this growing incompetency. I'm sure this won't be the last time it's brought up here..
My main aim here though is to help someone else prepare their work on a Bendex unit. It wasn't too tough. Just follow the shop manual and make proper adjustments, test and re-adjust as needed.
