Isn't it a land of ash now ? Sure a few hundred years ago it was aflame but now it's nothing more than an endless plane of ash where even the wind doesn't blow.
@@danialyousaf6456 It doesn't have to be that by "plain" they meant a flat land. They might mean it as "plain" like a "plain of existance". It can have mountains, and terrain other than sand, you know.
Oh, regarding Mondstadt’s taboo about Mare Jivari, we actually know the reason! It’s a cultural thing, mentioned in Venti’s story. It seems it’s important for the people of Mondstadt that the wind carries their souls back to Mondstadt, (see Thoma’s fallen line “It’s time to go home…”) Given the fact that the Mare Jivari is a windless place, it seems they believe their soul will never come back
Ooh, that actually make sense! Not to mention that Winds are tied with the entire Monstadt's culture. Like how winds are the symbol of Freedom itself. So a place without winds is basically an insult to the people of Monstadt.
i don't know about the whole phoenix thing, but what i got out of the story, is that bennet's fate was to die and because he was saved his own constellation acts as the will of the world, trying to set things as they were meant to be by killing him but he continues living bringing missfortune meant for himself to others arround him. he is literally going against his fate by living while the world tries to kill him at every turn.
Well check that list for red flags, hoyoverse will make genshin go dark if they decided to kill of characters that are too good and innocent, both lore and gameplay......
But hey, he's still living more than a decade later. Maybe this could hint that if a will is strong enough it can twist fate? Like we did in inazuma's archon quest? We opened a god's eyes making her realize her ideals are just harming her people.
*My take is that Bennet isn't actually allowed to die and must suffer for perpetuity* for some cosmic reason or a curse I based this mainly based on what happens in the hangout event and his "Vision" lore page. Think about it, *Why would he suddenly get less unlucky just because he isn't conscious* ? We know from the hangout event that if he falls unconscious the misfortune stops. If Bennet was unlucky *ALL* the time it wouldn't be anything strange, but the fact we know for sure that his misfortune ends if he falls unconscious makes it pretty odd. *There has to be a reason for it to end when he goes unconscious because it clearly isn't natural for power strong enough to affect destiny itself for such an insignificant reason* . The darker flipside to the argument is that death might be a kindness if you get too unlucky, so he is never allowed to be too unlucky because it might jeopardize his life. *If dyeing would be considered "lucky" because of the pain life brings, then he might basically be an immortal doomed to suffer for eternity* while still feeling the pain from everything.
@@MegaHuntress This can be right. And it makes me sad...because Bennett thinks that dying ans becoming a legend is a good thing. Hes not afraid of dying. But algo says that its a "too good" thing to happen to him... >:(
I actually have another theory about that. You know that Visions are actually Celestia's tracking device right? I think Bennett is not misfortune, and quite the contrary is a very Lucky Boy. His luck is so great that it threatened Celestia, so they handed him his Vision for supervision. But they later found out that that alone is not enough, so they tried to kill him outright! But since he is a Very Lucky Boy, all the Killing Attempts by Celestia failed and the Attempts just turned into some great misfortune in the eyes of Little Benny.
Just throwing ideas here, but if you listen closely, the first thing Dains says when starting the Natlan Act is "The rules of war are woven in the womb. The victor shall burn bright, while the loser turns to ash." Soooo... Maybe Bennett and Iansan are twins, and he was chosen to be sacrificed, while she was hailed as the reincarnation?
I dont think they are twins, because Iansan has dark skin and elven ears??????? Like Klee???? (I literally just noticed that detail like. Last week, after watching the Travail trailer for the 700th time). That means that they aren't related at all, or if they are, some very specific circumstances happened - maybe one of the parents was an elf, the other was human; one was dark skinned, the other had lighter skin, and so on. Not impossible, but IDK, I think its unlikely. We'll see when Natlan is released in 2064 djkfhdkfj
@@CelticBotansDigitalArt Well, it's not actually impossible. The game is a fantasy one with imaginary creatures (Adeptus, cat people, dog people etc.) but that doesn't mean that genetic doesn't affect them. Let's say that both parents are mystical creatures with dark skin, despite the high chance of having a kid with dark skin and elves ears there's also the chance that the kid have dark or white skin but no elves ears. Surely if they leave the kid it's not for the skin color but only based on the factor of the ears, if they don't have the elves ears then probably they leave them. There's also the chance that like you said one was born light skinned and the other dark skinned then there's the fact that even if they are elves there's still the chance the kid is born without elves qualities. Anyway, we have to keep in mind the fact that probably the kid different grow up made a difference with their skin color . I think you know this, but different ways of growing up can make someone completely different from their sibling despite the same blood. Natlan is the nation of fire and most likely it's a desert/a arabic kind of place which means it's very warm/hot and so let's assume that the kids were born both light skinned but one was left behind and the other was kept, they grew un in different places so even the light exposure is different. Bennett grew up in Mondstadt while she grew up in a place where I assume they are like gladiators about training, they train from a young age, making them always under the sun and as a result they tan a lot. Bennett instead live in Mondstadt, a place with a more bearable sun and with also different weather everytime. It rain, snow, get sunny or cloudy while Natlan most likely only have sun and rain. I don't really believe that they are related biologically but if they are there's a plausible explanation because she grew up in a place where it's inevitable to get tanned (I think I heard that even if you are born with dark skin the sun is still a important factor for how dark it will be when you grow up but I'm not sure) while Bennett grew up in a place with different kind of weathers so let's say that they both had light skin as kids but then grew up in two different places, it makes sense if only one of them is dark skinned while the other isn't if it's a matter of tan.
@@CelticBotansDigitalArt Well i mean not impossible. The reason people of dark skin is because of the weather. Since Mar Jivari is so hot Iansan has dark skin while In mondstadt its not that hot so bennett has lighter skin
@@cheese-and-ricemooney7487 Yeah, like I said not exactly impossible, but I just dont think that's it. Even more because we dont even know how elves work in this universe yet, only one we saw and interacted with was Klee (which is a whole mystery on its own!). However, I'm hyped about this theory of Benny being native from Natlan instead of Mondstadt, and the pieces shown here really really fit. Let's see how it unfolds!
@@CelticBotansDigitalArt Same, I'm not completely sure of it yet. I mean, the theory wasn't even really about them being related but more him having traits of Natlan people (from what I noticed) so it doesn't immediately mean he's related to her, maybe he's just from the place and maybe not even all Natlan people have dark skin. Maybe only hair and eyes are a common trait for a lot of/all people (it would be interesting if they all have a regional trait but I doubt it because they would all be too similiar) in Natlan, like the people of Zelda Ocarina of time, they all have this generic trait where they never grow up and always stay like kids. I also remember some kind of people who have only white hair as regional trait in fantasy but don't remember which one. I don't think Genshin will do that but it would be cool
Fun fact : i play the game in french, Fischl's title has "princess" in it while Bennett’s translates as "prince of bad luck" or something When I saw that I thought it was the same in english and it would be like… *SEVERAL SHIPPERS ARE TYPING*
when you mentioned the Benu bird I couldnt help it but think of Bennetts low hp line: *"I always bounce back, just watch me'"* which is pretty accurate if you ask me, with how fast he can heal himself, (or even other party memembers) oh how many times was Benny the only one non fallen character in my party in the early days when doing somw weekly bosses......
@@detective7852 Lore wise we don't actually know if he can heal others than himself. The only person confirmed to heal others is Barbera ( and possibly Qiqi because of how she inherited her power by it from somebody who was able to heal others ) Canonically Benny boi only healed himself automatically when he was unconscious because his vision cauterises the wounds by burning them. But other than that he is never actually shown or mentioned to have healed anybody. In fact, he regularly seeks help from Barbera to get healed... which makes little sense if he could help himself on demand. Granted, most of the time it's seems to be for dislocated limbs, minor abrasions or blood loss instead of fatal wounds. ( *which does support the theory that he automatically heals himself to the point it keeps him alive, but only barely and nothing more which is why his burst caps at 70* % ) I personally believe that his vision/ his curse is keeping him alive because it allowed him to suffer more while being alive. Basically, it might be considered "lucky" for him to die because it would save him from the pain of living, so his misfortune keeps him alive by all means.
@@ACDNeo because of this, i suddenly remembered Paimon's line about a guy competing also for Barbara's love so he also injures himself to get healed but everytime he goes there he ends up seeing Bennet getting healed first 🤣
@@detective7852 Early in the video he talks about how Benny was potentially abandoned when the person that was possibly caring for him lost a battle and had to go into the lava as punishment. My thought was what if Benny wasn’t abandoned but was the actually a reincarnation of the person that went into the fire. Similar to how a Phoenix would reincarnate.
Omggg me too i realise that archon skill set is often similar w the elemental resonance and pyro boost atk and my thought was, omg bennett legit pyro archon (jokingly)? Then this video is recommended to me
also I think on bennett's vision story it says that when he got his vision it was in the brink of death and when h wok up his wounds have been healed with flames? or something like that, and I think phoenix have been know to be capable of healing and that's how thy get their resurrection powers
"At last, his tightly-wound emotions came loose, allowing his many injuries to rob him of his consciousness, and he collapsed. When he reawakened, he found that his wounds had been cauterized by a mysterious flame, stopping both the bleeding and the pain. A jewel pulsed warmly in the palm of his hand, its rhythm in time with the heartbeat in his chest --- The beating heart of an adventurer. This was not the mercy of the world, or that fate took pity on him. Rather, this was his "final reward," one befitting a person with Bennett's burning passion"
I noticed his tissue around the arm, looks off compared to his outfit. It also looks similar to what the Natlan girl's yellow clothes part. Maybe it was the tissue with what he was found? And it has been noticed that Albedo, Kaeya, and Bennett have a different vision appearance than other Mondstadt characters
@@Malloooow There is 2 main types of vision in mondstadt - One empty with 3 feather wings on the sides and left wings on the vision gem (half of the cast) - One with flat base and 3 feather wings on the sides (half of the cast) Those are worn by all of the characters. But, only Albedo, Kaeya and Bennett have it different. Kaeya has the empty with 2 FEATHERS sides wings + RIGHT wings on the vision gem and instead of dark gold like everyone, his is light gold. Albedo and Benett both have it empty with ONLY the 3 feathers sides wings. And no other characters have it like these three.
Yes, Bennett really does have that shonen protagonist vibe. Kinda like a Naruto background. He probably has some OP parents in lore since he's practically broken in-game.
And Bennet's burst is called "fantastic voyage" giving him more this protagonist vibe. And his infamous C6 is called "fire ventures with me" and the effect i think lore wise means that he is using this power of the Phenix to power up his teammates Edit: wow 100 likes... Thanks :0
I feel that Bennett's curse of bad luck stems from the fact that he was rescued from the Mare Jivari, and the gods didn't like it. Hence the bad luck magnet, but only when conscious
Honestly even if Bennett ends up to be the son of Pyro Archon or even some sort of lesser god, I won't be surprised. That boy has one of the most amazing kit, bright personality, mysterious background and such a protagonist material.. Truly a 6*
Bennett's design does scream "early 2000's JRPG protag". Even his upbeat demeanor in the face of adversity adds to that. I personally don't think Bennett is blood related to Iansan due to her ears being like Klee's "elf ears" but I 100% think that Bennett is from Natlan. Whether he will have the plot significance theorized in your video or not is pretty up in the air but it is an interesting idea. We will see in a few years. Either way, nice video.
Honestly the first time I saw Bennett's appearance and what the npc's opinion of him I actually thought of him as an engineer that made inventions that kinda self destructs one minute after before activating them affecting people nearby the failed invention. If I already have a main idea what Natlan is before I learned more about the character, I would genuinely think that we could encounter a Natlan related storyline of Bennet in the future.
Oh yeah and that image I first saw Bennett is where him and the traveler where holding hands and they look exited at a yellow glowing something Infront of them so I thought that he made a successful invention in that image :V
Bennett reminds me of Naruto. No parents, seen as a troublemaker by a lot of people, very optimistic and doesn't give up, very loyal to his friends. His Phoenix constellation is very intriguing because Phoenix are legendary mythical creatures normally associated with gods. There's that or hes just a concept art for Natlan like Razor was a concept art for Sumeru/Cyno.
"The victor shall burn bright" is that the reason why his burst give active character pyro status above their health bar. Even if he is a loser in the eyes of mortal he has a burning passion to defy all odds
10:05 that reminds me it was Bennett's unluckiness that enabled Pallad to find Joel's father. Wouldn't that be similar to the role of the harbinger of dawn?
@@operafurry Also, the frozen guy was actually frozen in ice. Joel's dad was supposedly just hanging out in a cave somewhere bleeding and confused, so it's not really the same. But yeah, Its likely never going to be confirmed one way or the other.
See, here it is again, people can't handle theories being theories and now want to show how I'm wrong. Guess it really is true that you can't argue with a theorist because they just want to prove someone that their theory is right and nothing more
For a character with such misfortune placed on himself it seems supernatural that he always comes back from it. That he doesnt die even though his luck is against him. One should also note that his best made food is Teyvat Charred Egg. It is a revive item and an egg item which both fit the phoenix story. While the conciousness of the phoenix lives on in Dilucs family line the body could be reborn in Bennett. Maybe it was not meant to be reborn. Maybe that could be a cause of misfortune or a curse. Shenhe also seemingly got cursed with bringing Calamity. Or maybe the phoenix can take a human form just like the adepti and a hardly concious baby phoenix took the form of a baby human and simply forgot it could change back. Creating Bennett that way.
Then why is he not fighting the Abyss and Fatui along side us ? Then ? Why are we the one doing all the heavy lifting !? and we always end up not getting any info about our sibling.
@@justabrokezombie6252 is not the mc, and Hoyoverse has to compromise: he's strong in game and the mc is strong in lore, they can't be both. And who cares about the other twin, i wanna know more about the lore of the world not my brother
@@goodiesfeats2252 bruh chill, we are not on twitter, can't u catch some light irony?!?! Of course i care about the other twin because his/her story is deeply connected to the story of the world, just saying that world building is the singular most important thing in a good story and if done right all the rest of the lore will come nicely after (including the other twin). That said, i care a lot more about the lore of the world .
@@justabrokezombie6252 take in consideration something: the Traveler will leave Teyvat once that chapter ends and then ... Who might protect Teyvat from the enemies?
@@Sacration Yup, and like. THere's no way to run away from the fact that, due to historical reasons, African culture is now a major part of Latin American culture anyway - Brazil has the biggest black population outside the African continent, for example. Honestly, hope there will be thsis mix in Natlan, indeed!
This theory makes me happy cuz we might get more Benny in Nathlan but then I get scared because most characters important to lore have death flags and I weep
I mean, my theories on Benett have always been something about how certains people (like Khaenrians for example) were cursed to become abyss mages, some like Dainslief were cursed with eternal life, and maybe some were even cursed with eternal bad luck for generations...? Thats not... entirely unimaginable, and Benett's ancestry *could* be related to another people that Celestia decided to mess with in the same way they messed with the people of Khaenria. I mean, there has to be a canon explanation for luck this incredibly, unforgivably, remarkably, absurdly bad, right ? The idea that its coming from the gods themselves isnt entirely crazy to think about.
Also, when you think about it, the entire thing of Natlan/Natlan's god is 'war' and 'fire'. Usually, in a war you want someone to take care of the injured. You also want someone to carry out their own strength in the battle field, and most importantly you want someone to help other's in dire times and give them a boost in strength. All these things check out perfectly in Bennet''s character, PLUS him having a Pyro Vision makes this theory even more conspicuous...
Don't be surprised if he ends be like Shikamaru from Naruto: being an important side character that might have protagonism until the end of Teyvat Chapter
You know for a guy as unlucky as he is I'm genuinely impressed that he hasn't died yet, plus his bad luck also has a pretty low body count in general. People have gotten close to death but no permanent damage (except for a few emotional scars 🤣), so this theory makes sense. Also I find it funny that Cyrus is all for bringing newbies to Dragonspine, but the Mare juvari is a big nope for him. Just makes the place all the more interesting.
Nobody seems to mention that diluc’s banner said ’’ the dark side of dawn’’ then there’s surely a bright side right? And Bennett who’s always cheerful even tho he bears the world's curses seems like a good fit
this theory is very, very interesting especially the part about the Phoenix- I made a theory about the pyro archons ars goetia Name being "Phenex" so i think you're definitely onto something
my only major issue with this is that everyone in mondstat says the mare jivari has no wind, its stated many times throughout the story, so wherever benne was found couldnt have been the mare jivari...because the character that found him said "the winds were scorching"
The people of Mondstadt worship Barbatos, which symbolizes the winds of hope and freedom. Maybe in Mondstadtian culture, 'windless' would translate to a place being full of despair and hopelessness.
About Bennett himself is a very unique character with some interesting things... - His speciality dish is the Fried Egg, which is the simplest dish in the game. - His charged skill takes down strong opponents (only Klee can pull that) but also can be sent flying with an explosion (no one can do it) - His special skill is so unique that can buff attack, heal and clean status (except dendro) - His past is so misterious that has tons of questions to be solved - His bad luck is so weird that even changes the weather
Murata and The Phoenix being the only powerful gods in Natlan ,they had to fight each other for the archonship and the phoenix loses its then reborn as the lavawalker and after the lavawalkers death it re emerges from the ashes as the baby aka bennett
Let's not forget that Bennett, like a phoenix, kida resurrected already once when he gained his vision. The story states that he was deadly wounded and passed out from bleeding and than woke up fully healed with a vision close to him.
After watching last Dragon Spine event cutscene, Benett defintely sacrificed his luck for his skills and he has the same nose mark as that kid from Natlan on the story trailer. Edit - Mario theme really scared me.
Can that explain his C6 constellation? He literally sacrifice his buff for infuse with pyro that makes him not liked, but like Teyvactionary said, he may work with someone to carry out the Will of the Phoenix?
So... the joke that Bennett could be the Pyro Archon isn't that crazy. Just think about it for a bit, maybe he is the reincarnation of the Phoenix or whatever Murata fought in the Archon war and get his Gnosis
The first person who used the Harbinger of Dawn died a very unlucky death. Meanwhile, Bennett is unlucky as long as he is awake. Coincidence? I dont think so!
As a grand Pyro fan you make me proud to have obtained Benny before every other character, there is nobody better than him to represent the Pyro and Natlan, for now
Fascinating theory! This sounds new to me, never heard of it from other theorists. It makes me wonder if Hoyo's writers had done the entire story even during the developement stage of the game years prior to launch. It's just so interconnected and intricate.
I think they detailed the main parts, the rules of the world and what each god and region is. Maybe some ideias and inspirations from characters and the CORE events in The timeline. Because with this they can just elaborate and study it to remain mostly consistent. Like how the MCU plans every Phase first them make each movie individuasly
Its certainty that Ch Prologue-7/Epilogue(?) would be broadly mapped out. Complexities and details would keep the writers busy for longer. Then they have to slow things down through sidequests, event writing. And I don't know what they'd do about planning for any Book/Part 2 of the game. When you're in the Prologue Archon questing and they talk about other nations, they're (lore, NPCs, cutscenes) easily listing and referencing Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma. In my opinion, the game could have released with any extent of each; just a very polished Mondstadt (2019), a largely polished Mondstadt and some of Liyue (which is what we got) (2020), or very polished Mondstadt and largely polished Liyue and a barebones Inazuma (earlier 2021? if they went that path). I think that's as far as they were initially prepared to lay out to us. But that doesn't mean they don't have all sorts of story threads broadly understood already. We may not know Natlan, but the writers know a great deal more and have to figure out things like the details when we'll get there, and the extent of involvement we'll have beforehand. We may not know what we'll encounter at the end, but the writers probably have a pretty good idea (up for changes from feedback, art direction, story readjustments, censorship, etc). Usually 'season 1's of a gacha game (since several years ago) would only plan out story for the first 1-3 years, but Genshin Impact went with a whole 'book 1' of several years. So a lot more will change in the meanwhile and a 'Chapter' will feel less like another gacha's 'Season' and more like a step along the plot, but its pretty clear the devs have endpoints in mind for every character they design and every location they showcase. Like, I don't think we're remotely done with Dragonspine - they just wanted the place put on the map ASAP and decided to put some content on there and relatively (in the long run) 'filler' events for Albedo since he'll probably become so important. For all we know, huge things might happen there later, or UNDER there later, but having it already initially developed is just a load off the developer's backs for when the bigger patches happen.
okay but is no one gonna talk about how Bennett was most likely abandoned there for days, weeks or even MONTHS and SURVIVED??? he is definitely not mortal 💀
And the fact that Bennett provides ATK buffs but more importantly ’heals’ other characters which is very similar to the powers that the Phoenix possesses. For eg. in harry potter the Phoenix heals harry’s arm with its tears.
true, the first time I got (pulled) bennet in the early day of genshin, I was like 'bro, this boy design deserve a main protagonist if he is on another game or anime'
Find it funny how Phenix (And one of archon stand in character's variants which I forgot the name of, like scarlet rose?) was my first ever S-rank and in genshin Bennett is the character that has the most investment on my account
OMG I KNEW IT, I was theorizing this months ago and said to my friends that BENNETT is connected or more likely RELATED in our future adventures in Natlan. THANK U SO MUCH FOR THIS THEORY👏✨, been waiting for more people to believe that my main is indeed born at natlan and he isn't just some unlucky guy in the Genshin Lore ❤️
I gave once Bennnett an 4-.Piece Lavawalker Set, at that time I still didn´t knew much about artifacts and I like the design so I just gave it to him XD
that "loser turns to ash" line literally gave me goosebumps... I've been wondering for so long how bennett got his curse-like bad luck... That explains so much wow 😭
Bennu is also the name of an asteroid about a half kilometer wide which will possibly hit Earth in 2172. Its currently the most likely to hit earth of any known asteroid.
You forget 1 thing that no one brings up for some reason. When bennet uses his ult he says "bouken da bouken" which directly translates to... "hey it's me bennet genshin and im the pyro archon adventure team assemble" (source: trust me bro don't look it up they're lying)
Finally, finally someone puts up with something, new, exiting and interesting that is viable and i have not thought of it i am so impressed, this is amazing! :)
those who c6 bennet: yes now i understand why. me who's has him at c5 bennet: i'm sorry but the victor must turn bright while the losers will turn to ash (this is a joke don't take to seriously)
With the talk of eggs at the end I thought you were gonna bring up that Bennett's signature dish is literally just an egg as well that is more charred then normal but still tastes fine
And here I thought mare jivari was a one piece reference. Great summary this brings back Natlan hype for me! Bennet's potential story sounds like it could be a videogame on its own I wonder if the traveler will find out in that arc that the pyro gnosis is in mondstat and we'll finally be able to enter goth hotel
It actually makes a lot of sense seeing that Bennett was abandoned in a place to be described as hell on earth to be mare jivari. Adding onto that, the connection between the lavawalker/phoenix and Bennett is also interesting because a phoenix symbolizes resurrection/healing and in Bennett's story, he recovered from a near death experience with the pyro vision using it's flames to heal his wounds. Now coincidentally, in the trailer it said something about resurrection then it showed Iansan who seemingly looks like Bennett but with a darker skin tone and a female. But that's not all, In Bennett's poem it says specifically about how the wind blows in mare jivari, however, the wind doesn't blow in mare jivari, so that leaves us with a sign that Bennett might actually feel the wind from that area. Now about Bennet's title, there's a lavawalker artifact that says that the lavawalker went through a "trial of fire" now here's where things get interesting, Bennett's title is called "trial by fire" implying that he has to go through a test of something. Another interesting detail is the 5* pyro gemstone, it states " A pilgrimage for a wish; a battle to earn a name...Burnt to cinders for a dream. If the intention yet remains, achieved ██'s truth he has". This connects because Bennett's dream is to be the best adventurers guild in teyvet and the cost of wanting that dream was a test of courage (which was in his story), not to mention that she uses the word "pilgrimage" which means "a journey". The sentence before that means he has to battle in order to gain recognition, but what exactly? Well in the trailer with Iansan, Dansleif says "the rules of war are woven in the womb: the victors shall burn bright, while the losers must turn to ash". This implies that Bennet lost to someone back in Natlan when he was a baby.
You mentioned Greek mythology a bit but another connections you could make with that is the mare jivari being linked to Tartarus. Specifically with one of the five rivers in the underworld the Phlegethon. I could be wrong but I believe of the five rivers that the phlegethon is the only one that connects the underworld to Tartarus and it’s other name is the river of fire. There have even been some depictions of where characters drink from the river in order to acclimate of sorts to tartarus. That might have a deeper connection as to why the lava walker drank from the mare jivari.
I was reading Bennett’s character stories the other day and when I saw the part about the experiences of the adventurer who found him, I too jumped to the conclusion that it was about the Mare Jivari. However, a l l of the adventurers with whom we’ve talked to about the Mare Jivari explicitly characterised it as a “windless place”, which is definitely something that people especially from Monstadt would take notice of, and yet in the character story, beside blazing heat and booming thunder, there’s mentioned howling winds. I’m pretty sure howling winds are quite the opposite of a complete lack of winds so idk, I think Bennett was found in a different place entirely. Likely still somewhere in Natlan, but not the Mare Jivari.
one question I have regarding his backstory is that where the adventurer found him, "the hollering winds threatened to rip his soul from him" yet Mare Jivari is described as a "sea of ashes where the wind does not blow." How do you think this discrepancy can be explained? maybe it was just stormy around Bennett/where the Pheonix died specifically? Or that the climate changed between Bennett being found and Stanley's expedition there? awesome theory btw, love your vids!
Yeah it's also what I've heard as a counter-argument for the theory, so while I love it I'd rather not count too much on it being too accurate. But we can also say that there were instances where the wind would howl in the Mare Jivari- aka when Venti went to bring back Stanley's soul. But now, if he did the same thing when the adventurer was bringing back Bennett, it would just make him even more suspicious at this point lmao
whats great about bennetts name is that it means "blessed" which could either be a great joke or the fact that he is blessed by the fact he didnt die D:
Imagine if Bennet is the son of the Natlan Archon but she abandoned him because Bennet gives misfortune. So the Archon abandoned Bennet in Mare Jivari but thankfully, the Phoenix protected him. It's like Ruu and the thunderbird. So it's Bennet and the Phoenix. I think the Archon abandoned Bennet maybe because the Celestia found out that she is having a baby from a human. So, i think the Celestia would curse the Archon or will kill the child if the Celestia knows it. Also, i think, Bennet and the Phoenix are like together. I think that the Phoenix is with Bennet everywhere he goes to protect Bennet to a WORSE misfortune. If Bennet is really that unlucky, he is probably dead now but thankfully, the Phoenix protected him from all WORSE things that comes from him. C6 Bennet makes everyone's weapon becomes Pyro infused which means it can ascend weapons and the perfect fit would be Diluc being a Pyro user and being from a Venessa/Natlan ancetor. I think, it's destined that Bennet will be in Mondstadt to meet Diluc. Bennet and Diluc is going hand on hand at the end and be the hero of Mondstadt Lastly, i think Bennet forshadows what will happen to Teyvat. Like, Bennet is destined to be unfortunate but HE tries his best to change his destiny. It's like Teyvat, i think Teyvat is destined to fall but the people with the help of Archons tries to change its destiny.
No, the fillet blade has a black and silver one-edge blade with a hooked tip and the hilt is bulkier in shape. Bennett is holding the Harbinger of Dawn in a sideways view
@@venessankurumeh1549 uh, no. im literally looking at the in-game picture right now for both, hes holding the fillet blade theres not even an argument. it has the specific shape of the fillet blade and the color of the fillet blade and the handle of the fillet blade
Ok, it's just that this the first time since I played after launch that anyone thought it looked like any other sword. The general consensus was always Harbinger. I guess you could look at the 3D view in the weapon's Details section in the Inventory and decide for yourself.
The fillet blade doesn't have a wide u shaped guard nor the thinning blade right above it on both sides, nor the diamond pattern shape protruding out either. That is 100% the harbinger of dawn
