It seems that TherVacB team is planning to put their therapeutic vaccine into clinical trials in this year. I've heard that from Ulrike Protzer, the head of the team, and I don't know if they successed, but from what I know about their vaccine is that in preclinical trails all (or almost all) cccdna were gone from liver cells. Even the HBV integrated DNA were gone because the infected hepatocytes were destroyed through CD8-T cells. My doubt is that: If they confirmed these results in clinical trials, would we be watching a complete cure or a sterilizing cure? And just to note, the results in preclinical achieved way more than 90% of cure rate in the humanized mouse model. All of them became immune with great hight rates of anti hbs 😊😊😊
