Berberine isn’t new. It’s actually a time-tested herb that has been safely used for thousands of years for a wide variety of benefits. But it is currently generating major buzz. You’ve no doubt heard that this herb is trending on TikTok and other social media channels. Major mainstream media outlets are reporting on the herb and its benefits, and Google searches are spiking as consumers want to learn more. Berberine shows up often on WholeFoods What’s Selling lists, where independent natural products retailers share their best-selling supplements. With all the buzz currently surrounding berberine, it’s important to sort out where the science stands, and separate out the hype.

I had bleeding ulcers I suffered with for a couple years. I took the Dr prescribed typical meds for it (protonix and a couple more). After having an endoscopy my Dr said surgery was only thing that would help me. He told me if I only eat certain things and take the meds its 1% chance I could heal and not need surgery but it wouldnt last. Luckily I came across a post in a forum from someone who used berberine and mastic gum to treat their ulcers. I took these in the 2 months between the first endoscopy and the second. After taking these for a couple days I was able to eat without pain for the first time in 2 years. My Dr was shocked because I was the 1% that healed and no longer needed surgery. Its been 5 years and I take these at the first sign of any stomach issues. Instead of antacids or other stomach meds I take the mastic gum.

Thank you for sharing your story! Berberine has a rich history for supporting gastrointestinal tissue. Love the addition of Mastic Gum too.

To chime in on the last question is there anything that can be added to Berberine. I’ve been taking Moringa for over 14 years with great success in improved overall health and wellness. Moringa has a similar effect to Berberine because it’s packed with nutrients. I recently combined Moringa with the Berberine and the two really work very well together. The two together cover all of the areas bringing nutrition and homeostasis together. One meal a day 4-6 hour window to eat is achieved with no hunger or cravings which supports Autophagy.

Phytosome berberine , sounded great until I heard it has sunflower and grape seed. I get inflammation and joint pain from these in oil form. I am Very sensitive to omega 6.. I wonder if omega 6 sensitive people can tolerate phytosome berberine? Thanks for the great info and for sharing the great facts about berberine beyond just a weight loss pill. I am an under weight , person showing some insulin resistant . My natural path put me on berberine for blood sugar and gut health , and it’s over all health benefits. Thanks again. I am getting back to a keto type of eating , I dropped it sometime during Covid.

I use golden seal to get my berberine when I need a warrior plant for upper respiratory troubles to dry things up mostly gargling with it. For blood sugar control I use tumeric which has berberine too. Barberry is a poor substitute for higher quality of berberine. Why not mention other plants like oregon grape root too if this video is suppose to be about berberine? Appreciated your information about metabolism.

I am from Canada, it is available in most health food stores. Also on Amazon . I order from a Canadian company. My natural path suggested to look for a third party tested product. I started out low dose by half for the first week. I opened the caps up and divided them in half by eye balling , and poured the content into empty gel caps. A bit tedious but only had to divide 3or 4 caps. I was able to tolerate full pill by weeks end. Now on two caps daily. No issues at this point. Follow up with natural path in three months.

That’s very interesting. But where do these cravings come from? Nobody is really talking about it but the root cause is parasites and metal toxicities.its seem berberine is great but it’s not addressing the root cause. Ok American diet is the worst I agree, but sugar isn’t the main culprit here…. How about glyphofate!!!! You know the extremely toxic pesticide that’s on all the crops wheat and what not. This in itself causes metabolic and endocrine disruptions and causes blood sugar levels to go cray cray and for obesity to prosper

Actually when we eat bad sugars used by major corporations that use seed oils , MSG, Maltose Dextrose, Carmel Color , dyes, & God only knows what else!? Our bodies create Evil Sugar receptors that tell our Smart old Brain..ummm I craving this Sweet Poison..We have to learn to say NO to those receptors of many kinds. We nèed to Be the Boss!❤

The common frequent silent " H" word in English is the word " HOUR". Don't complicate things unnecessarily. Simple simple simple English word. Thanks for support.
