For $530 USD, you can get a Bear Alaskan XT that shoots phenomenal. It comes with an integrated picatinny sight mount and a dovetail rest mount. Speed is also rated at 335 fps, which is flagship bow speeds. I've got mine tuned and shooting 3" groups to 60 yards.

This bow is 100% capable of putting meat on the ground. Your “ survival “ trip will be awesome. Seriously folks, like Travis said, you don’t NEED a $1500+ setup to have fun or take most game. I’ve been shooting for more than 60 years and have learned long ago it’s the shooter that makes the difference. And PSE does make excellent bows. I will be waiting on that new vid. 👍👍👀

Do it! Last year i was in for a compound bow. I decided against a overpriced flagship and went with an Elite Terrain instead. Just because i liked it so much and it left me with more money for nice release aids and other components. Nice and easy to tune Hybrid Cam System. I equipped the bow with Custom Strings and cables (the original were crap), quality sight, arrow rest and stabilizers. I spend quite some time tinkering with different arrows and now the setup is golden! Shot an 2 inch group with it at 80 m/87,5 yds yesterday!

Chris bee won the tac truck with a $300 pawnshop bow.... proves you don't have to have a flagship. Not to mention, they all probably get most of, if not all, of their gear for free.

I prefer Bowtech. Mathews are great too. APA looks promising. Then again, virtually any modern bow will do the trick. Enjoy!!

Sorry for the delay in response we’ve been so busy with the business side of the channel🙏🏼 Honestly it’s not so much the bow but the arrow setup. Any decent 70lbs bow in todays market with the right arrow setup will take buffalo and giraffe 🙏🏼💪🏼

I myself only paid $400 for a bear approach from a pawn shop. Bow was like brand new and have been shootin it for goin on three yrs now. All the “influencers” he is talkin about on youtube dan go out and get BRAND NEW TOP OF THE LINE bows every ur because they dont pay a dime for them. They are handed to them on a silver platter set up however the hell they want them.
