which film camera should you buy? $54 Canon Elan 7ne is at the top of my list - a cheap 35mm film slr that will easily improve your photography. I shot with Fuji Pro 400H film stock, which i love the look of and might do a film review on in the future. I look at my favorite film SLR to date, a fast focusing workhorse better than any leica lover but you don't have to spend $1,500 on a glorified metal paperweight. If you're looking for the highest quality 35mm SLR for the best price, this is probably it. If you don't have Canon glass, an alternative for Nikon shooters is the Nikon F80. This camera was made made right before many companies halted their 35mm film camera production and development, instead choosing to invest in digital slrs. TO CLOSE! this camera is the best no doubt - make sure to cop one on eBay before the price skyrockets. Again this won't replace my Contax T2 just because of size and ease of use, but if you're shooting in a studio don't use a point-and-shoot over an SLR... oh there's also 4 different versions (US/Europe/etc) and they're all pretty much the same thing except for
the eye-autofocusing, which DOES WORK but I wouldn't rely on it too heavily shooting with the canon elan 7ne...yeee
