BEST BARCRUSHER, SURTEES, EXTREME, STABICRAFT for overnighter 

Great Video well done and think you nailed it, very very hard to decide between Gamefisher 750 and BarCrusher 780HTP. As a 780HTP owner however would like to comment if I may: 1. The concertina hard type door to the cuddy is a Bar Crusher option but is there for security, not needed on an HTP as they have solid lockable doors at the back of the Pilothouse which gives good security all the way forward from there, so even long rods can be safely secured if leaving the boat. I have a "Privacy Curtain" than can be rolled/zipped closed at the entry to the bunk area to allow for modesty for any female passengers and that is all that is needed; 2. Agree on your comments on looks, but the extensions to the Cabin of the HTP act as spray deflectors making it a much dryer boat than either a 'C' or 'HT' model, very little spray ever gets into the cockpit area. They really do make a big difference so (IMHO) is worth loosing a bit on the looks front; 3. I believe you are correct that Bar Crusher have dropped the cooker, but the unit can be easily inexpensively purchased from the Marine Suppliers in Auckland that Bar Crusher used to source from, and would be an easy option to install into the Starboard outside seat as Bar Crusher used to do; 4. One thing missing I believe on all of the boats is a decent fan. When sleeping on board it can get pretty hot even with widows and hatches open and the marine 12V Fan I have installed makes a huge difference to your comfort and therefore the quality of sleep. I always put the custom made storm cover on when overnighting with wife and 2 kids in surtees 650, 2 kids sleep in the cabin, adults sleep on the deck with 2 x 1.9m single size camping stretcher, it works really well for us

I own a bar crusher love it but feel I love the lines of surtees

G'day, great vid and I 'm hanging for the hardcore fishing version of this. In the west not sure a full pilot house is required but appreciate your rules for your decision. They are both great boats and I don't think there would be much between them. Cheers Graeme

Makes no sense why the Stabicraft 2500 Supercab XL wasn’t included, hands down tops all the boats mentioned in your segment, no comparison whatsoever. Not biased at all.

Really interesting insights, but if you were planning on leaving the boat in a marina ie not trailering anywhere, are we saying the Game King 795 is the champ? (from UK where people generally don't trailer big boats around!)

Hey mate what was your thoughts on adding the stabi 2400 instead of the 2500 ultracab? Just seems a bit more suited to a pilothouse style comparison, cheers

Hey mate, the old man ordered a 780HTP in November due to be built in May and he still has the cooker in it as an extra? So not sure unless it is a really recent thing.

Hi all, should have mentioned that's the EXTREME 795 game king only has a 1.85m bunk, which to me isn't sufficient for such a large boat. cheers.

The extreme could be ordered with longer bunks I'm sure.

Hi what are your thoughts on the Trident 610 FHT with the Yamaha setup seriously thinking of purchasing 1 in the next month or so doing my research but there’s only dealers telling you how good it is are they all cracked up to be a serious offshore boat? Or are they crap Thanks confused

Anyone have experience on how these compare to Genesis Craft boats? I am in the US, and have a new Stabicraft 2250 Ultra Center Cab on order… but have to say those Genesis Craft with full overhead hardtop are pretty friggin sweet. Cant get them in the US though.
