Fall is here, and yard cleanup will soon be in full swing. Which one of these two popular battery powered blowers is better in real life testing?

I love greenworks. It all started with my first battery powered mower that I got from them last spring. A year later, and I’ve added their 60v brushless weedeater, and more recently, their lead blower to go with my 60v line. Absolutely love that company

Greenworks has more tools in their 60 volt platform. That’s something to think about as well!

my greenworks 60v pro blower come with a 4 AH battery which makes it a little less front heavy, after watching this review, I tried it with a 6AH battery & found it very well ballanced.

There is a big reason why the Greenworks blower is intentionally made front heavy. It by design directs it downward without using force and reduces wrist pain.

I’ve used both of these blowing off snow on my deck. You can definitely tell the difference between the 2 when it comes to that. It just felt stronger.

Interesting... I am not able to see a major difference when it comes to blowing leaves and grass.

I totally agree that specs aren't everything & that ergonomics/real use wins out. Another point is that if people go with the same brand & battery system, say they buy the lawnmower later down the track, there may not be the need for extra batteries when purchasing the blower.

How is the Toro blower for moving pine needles?

I have an plug in toro blower/vac model. When it’s in the blow mode, it makes a pretty focused stream of air that can loosen and move pine needles pretty well. Also, these battery ones have a couple different tiers. There’s a basic one that comes in a pair with the weed wacker. Then the brushless ones are better, like I think this one is. If you get the $199 brushless one with the 2.5 amp hour battery it’s the fastest model.

@@Cleanerwatt they have got to be quieter than two stroke. and if we all just donate or pull some funds together we could purchase them for all of the gardening services in the city it can happen City by City. We just need to figure out on truck system way for charging

@@Cleanerwatt true except I don't know what gardeners in your area will be getting the Cyber truck. Lol. In Los Angeles almost 100% of the gardeners are immigrants from Mexico. And gardening doesn't exactly get you a super high income enough for a cyber truck. Some sort of solar solution that can attach to the top of work trucks enough solar to charge a few batteries at once. or batteries that last a long time so they would only need a few batteries a day for all the jobs and then charge at night it's all just a dream though in order for it to happen they would have to outlaw the use of gas powered lawn equipment which would be a huge win for the environment they pollute more than cars

@@Cleanerwatt but unfortunately the reason they won't outlaw gas powered lawn equipment is because it will hurt immigrants who need to make a living. so unless we outlaw gas powered lawn equipment and at the same time offer a trade-in program. For the gas equipment and give out free City funded electric equipment it won't happen which I'm all for I would happily donate to that or allocate taxes towards that. Then everyone in the city will be able to sleep past 6:00 a.m. on days that they don't need to be in the office that early without the screeching howling of lawn mowers and blowers a few blocks away polluting the air with noise

Yea if you really want to test them come to our house, we live in the forest under a thick canopy of oak trees. We have not found one EV blower that can blow the amount of leaves we get, always had to use a two stroke blower

The biggest EGO blower might do it. It is actually as strong and/or stronger than some gas blowers. Check out some reviews on it.

Just bought the toro . Pretty impressed . Ive been buying and returning these battery blowers for mobths . Like you said none were any good . The Toro is differant plus I already own a Toro flex force snow thrower with 7.5 ah battery . If I were to buy extra 2.5 ah battery only , no charger for snow blower it would cost me 160.00 . Now I have an extra smaller batt for my snow thrower plus a really impressive leave blower for 190.00 .

Gas blowers just have more power. My Toro is next best thing. Still no comparison. I’m a city dweller so it does the job and I won’t get harassed about killing the planet.😅
