We just came back from DC yesterday. Thank you for your videos it help us a lot! We had a great meal at District Commons, Edgar at May Flower hotel. Not cheap but great food! Can’t wait to comeback! 🤗

&pizza was one of my favorite places to eat while I was there. Thier pizza was really good and combining that with thier unique sodas options made me a repeat customer.

Best diner experience is Royal Restaurant in Old Town Alexandria: 734 N. St. Asaph Street. Home cooked food. Excellent portions. Big breakfast buffet on weekends. Milk shakes with real ice cream. Wow!!

For lunch, We the Pizza has a $10 deal. You can get two slices or a slice and salad plus a drink. That includes their original handcrafted drinks. I personally recommend the Sour cherry or strawberry lemonade.

Try Washington Deli, 1990 K St, a couple blocks from Farragut West. The owner is a hard worker and local college grad. They have two levels, one mostly pizza including by the slice. He makes his dough in house daily. Also a full salad bar and hot and cold deli sandwiches on the other level. Also a wide variety of drinks and other side items. The prices are very reasonable and they have something for everyone. I have enjoyed a couple of the places you mentioned and liked them as well.

I was just in DC and we loved good stuff eatery! Also we enjoyed Flippin Pizza pretty cheap and very filling and delicious! We had the calzone and bread twists.

Thanks for the ideas! I’m heading back to DC in December and might end up moving there. A place I liked is Tortilla Coast, although you can’t get by under $10 unless you’re only drinking water and pick one of the least expensive items. The swirl margaritas are excellent. And, it’s a favorite of political types.

VERY good advice as of 2021. Thank you! I want District Taco to go national so badly! &Pizza was also good. I actually wasn't impressed with the smokehouse burger at Good Stuff, but the strawberry lemonade and shake were worth the trip on their own.

Just came back from DC, but saw this video after. We enjoyed District Taco 3 times in a week. Great call!!! Also, we ate breakfast 5 times at Jimmy T's and fell in love with the staff there. But, be aware, Jimmy T's is cash only.

I was in DC in October 2021. I didn't try the places in this video. I loved Hill Country BBQ. Wiseguy Pizza was pretty good. I don't remember the prices. I'm sure the bbq was well over $10, but it was the best brisket I've ever had (Get the moist, not the lean). They are both in the NW area

Can you make a video of family friendly restaurants in DC? Places that a family of 4 or more with kids can sit get out of the cold or hear and have a good filling dinner? Pricepoint something like your average chain but “DC favorites” version? Its a very specific request I realize, but I am having difficulty finding something that isn’t fast food, bars, or upscale restaurants.

Trip Hacks DC , thanks I checked the link. Looks like Korean ingredients with soft shell. tortillas, authentic Korean is not widely popular among Americans but Mex/Kor fusion has the potential to be very popular. I will definitely be eating there someday.

No DCG?! What! Anyone visiting DC, make the trip to District Chicken & Gyro. They used to be in Georgetown when this video was made but now they’re in Tysons which is only about a 15-20 minute drive from downtown but you will not regret it. It’s a simple, straightforward meal but you’ll be talking about it until you come back to DC and try it again. Another place is Ben’s Chili Bowl and while it isn’t in the sexiest part of DC, you got to try it.
