I bought one not too long ago, but disappointed I had to buy the rip guide separately. But there's no spring loaded bolt to hold the rip guide onto the saw. Called ridgid, they said yoy have to buy rip guide and bolt that holds in place on saw.

Good to know. I was considering the Milwaukee, one and I’m sure I’ll get it eventually, but the price and LSA got me with this one. I’ll have to do a versus one between the Milwaukee, RIDGID, DeWalt, Makita, BOSCH, METABO, etc. someday. I hope you and yours are doing well.

Are you serious? Best cordless circ saw? Cmon guy, that saw isn’t even in the same league as Makita and especially Flexvolt. The dewalt dcs578 is hands down the best cordless circ saw and Makita is second. The ridgid has a cheap stamped thin metal base and plastic guard. The dewalt is magnesium and metal guard. And absolutely no cordless tool matches any Flexvolt tool. Thanks for the hilarious review

I used my friend's ridgid circular saw to build my bed frame, also tried out his ridgid impact and drill. They all worked great, the battery is huge!

Yeah, I haven’t had any major issues with my RIDGID tools yet. Until recently my RIDGID SDS Rotary Hammer drill gave out during a tough job. I’ll post a video on that sometime soon.

@@MasteringMayhem nice, I always love to see how tools fail. That's why I watch a lot of AVE's veejaoes. lol A lot of my friends choose ridgid because of the lifetime service agreement.

@@free2chasehappy I watch his videos too. I started off with RIDGID because of my brother and then the LSA just added to my commitment. Although, my loyalty is subjective, I just love tools in general 🙂

@@MasteringMayhem haha. I went with dewalt only because I got a drill and battery from the shop I work when I graduated from college. Would love to buy more tools (who doesn't) but being I recent college grad, I think a house is a better place for me to put my money in.
