Hey! You can cut a large rectangle using satin fabric and add two straps (to toe around waist). Add the ruffles on the wrong side of the fabric. I hop this helps!
Hello.. thank you for this tutorial.. I am confused on the inches needed for the width of the tulle? And are you measuring 7” or 14” for the length of each row? Thank you
Cleandra Jones Hey!! The width (56 inches wide as a single layer. Cut into 4 pcs makes 14in) you choose will determine how full each layer is. 7in lines are the space between each row. Hope this helps :)
Hamiltont97 Hey! Each layer is 7 inches apart. Measure every 7 inches and draw lines onto the fabric. Pin & Sew each layer onto the front (starting at the top). Repeat for the back. :)

I love this! 1 question, how do you determine the size of the lining? I know you make it into a trapeze shape but do you measure your waist then have it angle out from there? Also, what size do you make the band? It needs to be bigger then the waist to make it ruffle right?
Thank you for the tutorial. How and when did you connect the front to the back? Was it prior to sewing the tulle to the skirt or did you sew the front and back together and then sew the tulle on the skirt? Thanks in advance
