Best setup for sure is 3 inches from the cat back all the way to the tips, and two resonators on each side. Hella loud and hell deep tone.

Just got an ecoboost and planning to get this exact exhaust set up. Is it recommended to get a tune when upgrading your exhaust? And have you had any problems with the engine after this mod? Sweet sound bro!

For the install do the pipes on the Flowmaster reach far enough to connect directly to the CVF Y-Pipe, or do you have to use some of the factory pipes on the car?

I don't like the sound, but, don't be offended by my opinion. I own a 2017 Ecoboost Mustang, and I will not change the stock exhaust because, they will all sound like a 4 banger. The only good sound from ANY 4 cyl., I have ever heard is the Subaru. The Ford 4 cyl sounds all suck!! If I want to hear good exhaust, I drive my '02 SC GT w/40 series flowmasters.

Exact sound I was looking for. Can you please put a link in the description for where you purchased your Y pipe? I’d like to run the same setup. Just running the axle back with a resonator delete with the y pipe right? Am I missing anything? Currently I’m running an intake, WOTB, catch can, Cobb intercooler, BOV, and a Cobb tune. Exhaust is next on my list and I’m thinking this is going to sound really good.

Car sounds great! Im new to exhaust set ups so I was wondering if these offers any performance advantages or if theres any set up that can make my ecoboost sound like this while at the same time giving me some performance boost?

An exhaust will have some performance benefits. But you will get the most benefit by adding more than just an exhaust. Get a downpipe, Cai, and a tune in addition to the exhaust. Those will get you better performance over stock.

Just installed the flowmaster axel back a few days ago in my 2018 eco! It's such a game changer! Installing the x pipe next then will get a downpipe soon! Also, Blue Mustang Gang ;)

I have 18 eco. I kept my stick mufflers because I don’t want no exhaust sounds. All o want is turbo sounds. So I got the blow off set up and all you hear in my car is turbo sounds. No ricey motor sounds

At worst, it has a nice 4 banger sound. At best, it sounds a little bit like 3.7 liter V6 Mustang, which is a good thing. Those are great engines.

“If you’re worried about drone, more than likely you’re not going to have a good sounding exhaust from the outside as well.” What the *€%# does this even mean? You have it in sport mode and are trying to find downshifts for us to hear the exhaust.. use the paddles ape. Wtf kinda half baked ricer are you? Why do you keep cutting a few seconds out of the video? Like 7:24 cuts so the vehicle seems faster or louder....? Man so many terrible things going on with this video...

Sounds much better. When i only an axle back / muffler delete(accelatec) and MRT Y-pipe, i swear it sounded exactly like yours. Ever since i put the catless DP, it sounds horrible. My MBRP street exhaust, sounds like shit to lol. These cars just don't sound good catless. If you installed a catless DP, your car would also sound a lot worse. I'm debating picking up a catted DP, or atleast trying the MBRP with my stock DP, just to see. I was just going through my old instagram videos, from when i first put on my axleback, and man did my cvar sound better. Anyways enough with my shit LOL. Your car definitely sounds good tho :)

Just don’t drive like an idiot. No cop is stopping you for a loud exhaust. You get caught for a loud exhaust after they already got you something else.
