Best EUC Ever made?! 1500 Mile In Depth Review of the EX20s C30 High Speed Suspension EUC by Begode 

Greetings from the west coast EX20S HS ambassador! I was going to do a small review video at 500 miles, but I ended up riding past that and just surpassed 700 miles myself, so I might as well just wait until 1K for my thoughts. Did a great Mt. Tamalpais run among the California Redwoods with some great riders in the SF Bay as part of Afeez and his wife's US tour just yesterday, and my EX20S HS "Dragon" made that ride a dream. Potholes were hardly an issue and range anxiety did not make an appearance. I was fortunate enough to have a working stock shock so I've had no problems with the suspension whatsoever, so I'm waiting for the first big problem with this wheel and...I guess I'll still have to keep waiting. Thanks for the tip on the dry lube suspension maintenance at 500 miles! I like what you said about how after riding the wheel for a bit that the weight isn't something you notice anymore. I have a lot of folks ride "the dragon" and most riders comment on the heavier weight. Most people feel I don't mind the heavier weight due to my size (240 lbs. riding weight) but I think it's also getting used to it over many miles. Heck, even EUC Girl weighing in at 60 something pounds was able to ride and even feel somewhat comfortable after a few parking lot laps on the wheel, which attributes to the fantastic overall weight balance of this wheel. And yes...people don't believe me when I say it's nimble! I carved down that curvy Mt. Tam road over potholes and such at 30+ mph and was still so relaxed to smile and wave at cars coming the opposite direction. I have so much confidence riding this wheel due to the power, weight stability, nimbleness, and suspension that no other wheel can replicate or compete. Unless you're under 200 lbs. riding weight (where I can see this wheel be perhaps tiresome since it's more than half your own weight), I agree...this wheel is hands down, best wheel not just of 2022, but of all wheels period.

Well, this just about solidifies my next wheel choice. "Sherman with suspension" was all I needed to hear.

I have 800 kms on my EX20s HT and I just love the wheel. My Sherman and V11 feel like toys when I ride them now next to my Ex20. By far the most stable and safe wheel I have ever ridden. I cannot recommend it enough. Great on the trails. Great on the road. You get used to the weight pretty quickly. First class wheel. Well done Begode

Begode should scope out how you modified the EX20s - and release these as stock on Batch 2, or the "EX30s"

Super interesting review on a heavy wheel! That knobby tire sound would drive me crazy after a while though hahaha. Kind of like a modded muffler on a car that drones at highway speeds. If you did change to a street tire though, it would make it even more nimble. All metal construction is definitely an awesome benefit, the downside is it sacrifices on weight. This review makes me super excited for the v13 for sure. It may not be all metal construction but I heard they will be using all aluminum internal bracing. Hopefully its good quality and not like poor casting metals the EUC companies have used on their wheels till now.

Awesome review BigG. I was wondering why there's bubkas from you on the ex20s besides the mods & shock issues. Infact you were putting on the requisite mileage for a real world rider owner's POV review. Tho the ex20s would likely never be for me, I do appreciate you inputs & opinions plus I know there's nothing in it for you 'cept as your contribution to the community. I would also think GW woulda fix whatever issues with the ori shock by now as well but nevertheless, peeps know there are options. Again fantastic job 😁😁👏👏

EX20s :-) The Master is getting some good reviews? Interesting review, nice mods. I've just printed Carbon Fiber Footplates for a Ninebot One E+, the results are so good I'm encouraged to design some for something more powerful.

Hey George, I think I've been watching you since the very beginning and hands down this is the best video you've ever done and thank you for it. I currently have the hero and liked it but I've had my eye on this wheel for a while you provided such great information. One question I have is underneath the trolley handle I noticed some red wires. What are they and why are they exposed like that?

at the end of this year it will HAVE very strong competition: v13 and MasterPro. bigger wheel + bigger battery + stronger motor + higher voltage = more fun, more range, more comfort

I live on the 3rd floor. I cannot put the EX20S in my car. I have a tinny Ford Fiesta. But still a great longrange wheel.

Nice review, George. Might you replace the knobby with a street tyre when you wear the stock grip down? That would seem to be the better suited tyre for a long range cruiser, as given the weight, it’s not as though the wheel is suited for much off-road use really. I

Just blew my shock lol. I looked at the dnm aoy rc38 but it's starts at 165mm, the og shock is 80mm.... Did you get the 165mm then George. Nevermind, found a post u put up saying 190mm

So it's a bit heavy without a front handlebar. Although, a person can enjoy the customizability of the EX20S. Feels comfortable riding 35 mph all day every day.

I'm only about 16 months into being an EUC rider, so I don't know much about the older wheels, but with all the mods you had to make and all the issues you had deal with, this is the best ever made? I believe you, but I just can't imagine how poorly they were made before. Seems like Singsong and Inmotion wheels are made much better. Do you mean best Begode wheel ever made? Just fact checking you. Keep up the good vids. I love your cast of goofy friends.

nice review! looks like a fun wheel in the long range cruiser class, but doubt it will keep up with the Master offroading or on street, so can't be best :)

Hi George. Thanks for these videos. I’m looking hard at this wheel. I got the money and am ready to order, but am feeling the anxiety of spending my hard earned cash and not ending up with the best wheel for me. I’m a big 230lbs guy and am looking at every wheel with bigger battery. I’ve been riding an S18 for a year and have learned a lot along the way. The EX20 speaks to me more than the Mpro, sherm max, or commander. The master is tempting but I think I’d burn through its battery quick. I know you also have an exn and have ridden most other wheels out there, so I think I write all this to ask you one question - Is the ex20 fun to ride compared to other wheels or will it be a boring ride with a lot of comfort and range?

So let me get this straight......The stock shock sucks, the stock headlight and taillight sucks, it weighs a 1/4 ton and doesn't accelerate very fast but it's the best EUC ever!!! Just busting your balls George, we can see how much you love that wheel!

We are starting to see a time where smaller people hold physical advantages over larger people. They can ride faster and farther, and more of them can fit per rocket payload when we start sending people to Mars and beyond!

While technically nice, begode/gotway wheels would never make it through an electrical safety inspection.

A lot of times people will say “this is the best unicycle”… and what they should say is “ this is the best unicycle for me” Others will say the master is the best Others will say the Eagle is the best, and they all are… for those specific individuals Just saying “it’s the best”.. cause’s unneeded battles No wheel has everything yet, Eagle doesn’t have master torque, master doesn’t have ex20s battery, ex20s doesn’t have the master or Eagle suspension so there is no best wheel… and there probably never will be as all tech advances and you can’t have all qualities in every wheel it’s impossible because of weight, price
