and as always a perfect video, so a thumbs up. As I understand it now, put the camera back to factory settings. set as in video, then adopt the settings from the first video up to the focus point. Correct
Not quite stefan, this settings is a custom setting (C1) it will be available in most of the other settings, except AI / AI+ when you push the red record button it will be there for you as long as you’re in the C1 focus point setting, if you want to make sure you’re in that setting on the back of the camera go to the rocker switch push it to the left and you’ll see an icon that says C1 click on it and you will be good to go, no Stefon you don’t have to put your camera back to factory settings. You can actually do it just like I show you in the video, this video is for people that reset their cameras back to factory settings for some reason or pull the camera of a new box. I’m just trying to make it as simple as possible ,just wanted to show this focus point from scratch. Thanks Stefan have a beautiful day.
Okay then I did everything right, it would be nice if we could share pictures with each other to understand the project even better and get to know each other better... I wish you a nice day too
I wish I had found this before I went to Zambia, trying to take pictures of the beautiful birds I struggled to get them in focus. The camera would focus on the branch or the leaves and not on the bird. Hopefully if I have a go again, I can get some better pictures. Thank you for this.
Thanks bobbie, for sharing this with the community, sometimes I leave it in AFS with burst on (M) when I’m shooting birds in the leaves because if you have it on continuous focus, sometimes it tries to focus somewhere else. Try that and see how it works. Ps just burst your photos while you’re shooting at it with your finger, pressing multiple times, i’m so glad I can help you out. May you have a beautiful and gorgeous day. Thanks for the comment.🙂
Hi bobbie, set your focus point to my custom focus point video I have in my series, that will get you much better results, have a beautiful day and thank you for your support 😊
Hi jordism, my custom focus point is much better than the standard issued focus points set at the manufacture, if you’re doing close-ups of the insects ,flowers or animals, you will achieve much better results with my custom focus point than you will, with the manufactures preset, focus point ,just try out the custom focus point and you’ll see the difference you will have more precise sharper pictures , also I recommend using the continuous auto focus. You will get great results. Thanks for the question. I hope this helps you achieve better results, have a beautiful day🌤️
Hi Joey, this focus point is much tighter and smaller than the original camera presets focus points, this will get you in between the branches & leaves much better than the preset focus points in your camera, I am currently working on part 1 birds in flight settings 😊 have a beautiful day and thanks, Joey.
Awesome video! I’m thinking about buying the fz300 for landscape, wild life and aircraft photography, would it be a good camera for all of these areas? Otherwise maybe the fz82?
Yes , scenic landscape photos, I have shot airplanes but I don’t think it’ll do fighter jets whizzing by , and yes, this will do nature photography, including the animal, kingdom, the insect kingdom and plant kingdom, just try to keep it in optical as much as possible ,that’s 600 mm that is the sharpest focal length 90% of all my pictures are taken in optical only the 600 mm zoom, thanks ossieu for the great question. Hope this helps PS you could also look into buying a used Fz 300 which could save you some money. 🙂
