I’ve literally gone back to RuneScape after a few years break. I recently tried GW2 but after a poor start with account issues I thought ‘buggar it, I’ll give RuneScape a shot.. again.’ It’s so refreshing to play a new account and relearning the game. The GOAT of all MMO’s. 🙌🏻
@@MyTardisGoWhoosh that's true about PVE in every game. Playing against AI will always get boring once you learn it's system. Fighting random players is where it's at. PVE Playing chess vs an opponent that always makes the same moves. PVP Playing chess.
the main reason i love runescape is the economy system, the grand exchange is awesome, and that anything you do in the game makes you money, unlike other games where there is only one way to make money, and to level up so skills you just lose millions.
I finally gave AQ3D a try on my mobile device last weekend, even though there are so many videos out there that criticize it for a lack of polish. And you know what? For mobile games… I like it so much more than the other options. It feels weirdly like an MMORPG that originally came out on Nintendo 64. I’m particularly a fan of combat systems where enemy attacks are visually telegraphed, because it makes the combat more interesting than just sitting there watching two characters hit each other until one of them dies. AQ3D gets this better than, say, Villagers and Heroes. So if you’ve been on the fence about whether to try this, because you’ve heard so many comments about how rough around the edges is, my advice is: TRY IT. Nobody on RU-vid can tell you if you would like this game. Only you can do that.
I love Villagers and Heroes! One of my guildies said to check out your video :D I've never stuck with any game as long as I've been with V&H, even if you don't want to do anything it's easy wasting 2 hours just chatting to people
I remember playing it years ago in 2016 when it had decent player count. You'd be exploring and actually see other players regularly. Watched as the game slowly died.
It's a shame that Albion Online showels the premium sub into your face so heavily that I personally would call it p2w :-/ Otherwise it's a good game...
Well I tried eldevin and I think it could be good for hanging in with your friends and family ,but it needs just some little adjustment like customizations and skills and big community and is rdy to go !
I found Villagers and Heroes three years ago after trying so many other mobile MMOs. The game is still in active development, with additional quests and content being added each year. The community is fantastic, and the devs are approachable and in constant discussion with the community. I love that I can switch between playing on my iPad and my computer. Thanks for including us in your video!
When is someone going to make a third person Albion? New World was almost it until they pussied out and redesigned the game for PVE nerds. And gave up 95% of their player base in the process.
Adventure quest been around since 04 on pc they just upgraded the graphics and put it out on mobile as quest Adventure 3D to get more people and get returning player to come back
There is a little gem of an MMO being produced right now, called Genfanad.. have you heard of it? It's like OSRC inspired. It's getting released in 2022 aswell and it's playable for those who visit the kickstarter page
Great job on summing up the Rune-like games. I especially enjoyed the Villagers and Heroes segment. I've been playing that one for over 8 years and it's nice to see it getting a little attention. I don't mean to pick but one thing that caught my attention was that you made mention of the fact that AQ3D has mobile play but did not do so for Villagers and Heroes. V&H is a true cross-platform game that allows pc and mobile players to play together and you can play the same account on either platform. In fact, it has had a cross-platform capability for several years now, long before AQ3D began offering it. Aside from that one omission, you summed it up pretty well. It has a better community than the vast majority of MMO games I have played. It is still in active development and has a nice team of devs that are approachable and communicative with the player base. That's something I seldom find in mainstream titles these days. One thing we can agree on I believe is that people that like games like Runescape will probably enjoy Villagers and Heroes. Feel free to drop in and get your game on some time. We'll leave a light on for ya. :)
runescape banned me for 'botting' while i'm not using ANY 3rd party software whatsoever. Since i do like the game but can't be bothered to invest time in a company that wouldn't even check for flaws in their detection system, i rather move on to a more user friendly environment. Let's go ;D
