Best Freehand Tattoos ✍️Ink Master 

I absolutely love Jesse’s distinct style, that being said, wouldn’t know how I’d feel with that particular creature on my leg.

Whew. Jesse’s talent is obvious, but that style is basically everything I personally would not want on my body. I feel like it’s such a gamble going on this show so I’ll stick to paying for my tattoos lol

Even though I wouldn’t get one because I personally wouldn’t want it on my body forever, I love Jesse Smith’s tattoos. They have so much character, they are all so special. You’ve never seen something like them, they are so bold, so saturated, with amazing detail and they all have such unique stories. I think only a true artist can do such a thing

Anthony's story hits too close to home for me. My cousin Sharon went in for gall bladder surgery and was given too much anethesia which caused brain damage and she died two weeks later, still in a coma. Blew me away to hear Anthony relate the exact same story...

Its funny how other tattoo artist complained about jesse but he created a whole fantasy world of creatures he found his style and not many have that. Its nothing for me but damn impressive

Jesse has such a unique, carefree and well-established art style and perspective. The only issue for me is that he occupies a very niche customer base for people who want his creatures on their body forever. Prints, merch, illustrations? Hell yeah, they're beautifully gross, bright and happy. Immortalised on someone's body? Definitely not gonna happen as often

Jesse's tattoo was actually really good, i was triggered that they criticized the anatomy of a CARTOON character, crazy... his shading was amazing as well!

Tbh Jesse should be drawing for Disney, if he wanted to give me that free hand piece... Nah man. He's a good artist but the creativity is too much to explain

it was nice to see the women have such lovely praises at the end. been watching a lot of ink master, and the beginning seasons feature a lot of sexism and misogyny, so watching laura and dani get such good, well deserved feedback made me smile!

Although Jesse is not my type of style. I can't deny how creative and unique his art is. He is one of those tattoo artists that when I see his work I already know it was his from the get go.

The video editor deserves a raise for effectively cutting out Oliver's face but not his voice in all these videos. Lol

Jesse being eliminated was nonsense. It was literally a 5 on 1 situation where Anthony still didn't fix the issues he had with his Eagle. Had someone mentioned to Jesse that it needed to be more saturated, even a passing gesture he would have at least won that round. Would he have won the competition? probably not, but its ridiculous that any of the other artists had a say while either of them were tattooing.

Damn that story about his sister and his mama fighting to bring her back to the point she got medals in the special Olympics made me cry. The quiet struggles we all go through that builds us, it’s sad that it’s easy to relate but a reminder most all of us have something. Salute to you if you’re still standing, you’ve made it this far through all the hurt and pain in your past ✊🏾🙏🏾💜

How are people still asking why Oliver isn't included anymore?? There's multiple comments every video and every time people say why. He did a whole costume of blackface and was creepy toward women. Pay attention to the replies of those comments or Google it yourself. He's been excluded for months now idk how some people are just noticing now 🙄

Jesse’s tattoos are technically applied well but I can’t imagine wanting one of these googly eyed things on my body but to each their own I guess.

I think Anthony is probably top 3 to ever be on this show. Of course IMO but he always makes good tattoos

literally the whole point of Jesse's tattoos is that its not supposed to be a creature that lives on this planet and the judges don't understand that. That bunny fish thing doesn't need to have perfect structure if it lives in space dude. I personally think Jesse deserves to win this season. he is a true artist.

9:32 For the second challenge i have to say Pins and Needles their tattoo is crispy clean and damn near perfection especially considering its placed from an actual drawing. Having said that there is no denying in my eyes that Unkindness Art their DJ set will make their canvas the most proud by far and truly deeply connect with them as a person so i cant call it any different then the DJ set being the winner for me.

Bubba's flower was so dope! The saturation on that light pink was so solid, and the simplicity of the design showed how deliberate every line was. I'd love to have something like that on me.

That eagle's foot is messed up, suprised that the judges didn't mention it.

jesse had a strong tattoo that smashed anthonys and the only real reason he got kicked was because the judges werent able to understand it. I also LOVE the fact that he comes up with a story for each creature

I actually totally would get that fish on my thigh. I like it. I can’t imagine how cool it would be if we came up with something together. I dig the eyes and the tentacles and I love the color palette.

Jesse's art work is amazing. It's his way of expressing art. I understand that his style is unusual but you can't deny the talent that he has.

Out of all the ink master seasons I've watched, I absolutely love Rayn Ashley n Anthony.. They came with the least experience but damn did they slay.. Their tattoos r just gorgeous✨

Jesse Smith's bunny fish blew my mind away

Anthony story about his sister really touched me. On july 2,2016 my lil sister died due to the excessive anestisia that was given to her. She suffered 6 strokes and it got worst. She entered to a coma and after being on a coma for 6 hours she suffered the last stroke. The hospital tried to deny the fact that my lil sister died from the excessive anestisia thanks to the autopsy we got the truth. RIP CELIA SOSA

christian and cleen aren't really contestants anymore 😂 by being on the show so much and doing so well they're just legends and so much higher in my view than anyone else

Laura is one of my all time favorite contestants. And her octopus here is incredible in the color gradient of the red how those suction cups pop. I'd wear that as is. But still surprised the judges didn't even mention the weird shoddy holidays all over those blue diamonds

Isn't line weight a thing in tattooing? I mean in drawing there is but...i think lines need to have a dynamic movement some places thick and some places feathered out

Also that fish with a mythical feeling I don't think it needs to have a functionality. So many mythical cartoony things dont have that readability that he had

Given the "functionality" of the fish, I'd like to point out that sunfish also dont really "function".

I hate how much they dehumanize people who are taking major risks for them, "my canvas... the canvases.. these canvases" and then they always try to blame them for their mistakes.

My chest tattoo was done free hand. It’s amazing! I know nobody else will have this exact tattoo. Truly a piece of art.

I will say Jesse does the eyes SO beautiful…only wish the creature had been more lovable I guess but the backstory made me smile and like it a bit more.

I feel like the judges were overly nitpicky with the first 2 tattoos felt more like personal preference then actual skill

I love the shocked reactions every time a challenge is introduced...like you expected it to just be easy? It's not like this is stuff they don't already do regularly. "today you'll be tattooing" *contestants* What??!! *talking head* I've been tattooing for 10 years, but I'm freaking out, when I heard it was tattoo day, I thought, man, I could be going home." "but that's not all, you will also be doing outlines." *f***, this could get me sent home. Outlines are the part of the tattoo you draw first, so then you know where to color in and what the image is. I don't know if 6 hours is enough time. F***

It seems like some of the tattoo artists have trouble acknowledging their "canvases" are actually human beings. An actual canvas is an inanimate object that feels nothing. A human feels pain. Some of these "artists" should remember that and be less harsh to their "canvas."

This is June of 2021 and the first time I'm ever hearing about Antony's sister survival and progress. I haven't finished watching the video but wow and that's amazing for her.

How could Jesse lose that one? Doing traditional was the easiest choice. You kinda have to remember how an eagle looks and put thick lines. Done. The only really good thing about his tattoo where the wings, everything else looks wonky.
