See what actually happened Woolie is Square wanted to use Mickey and Disney was like "Mmm, you're too much of a risk, so you can use Mickey but only in ONE scene". So Square went "Alright" and then put him in a cliffhanger position at the end and Disney was like "....bitch you're lucky this sold well." And then Mickey was free to use in the games from then on.
TactlessC actually I’m pretty sure Disney wanted Mickey to be the playable character, but square wanted to create an original character for the game. They compromised by having Sora have the same colors as Mickey Mouse
I gotta give props for the KH franchise for getting 90% of the living Disney voice actors to reprise their roles of their respective characters. It's weird that the ones who didn't return were the comic relief animals besides Iago.

Pro tip; you don't actually have to use items on party members if they get KO'd as they'll slowly recover through the fight, so unless you plan on using summons or limits there's hardly a need to.
I have a lot of nostalgia for this series, but I think the lone portrait of the Mad Hatter and March Hare crying embodies my problem with Kingdom Heart's take on a lot of these Disney worlds. They feel so empty.

The original art for Sora he has lions ears and a tail. But it was actually the addition of squall that finally led the designers to change him. And when you look at them they do share some similar characteristics.
What makes Woolie even more right is they made them visually distinct with their clothes and gave them different personalities and interests in the new Duck Tales and I still have trouble remembering if Huey is the Red or Green one. Dewey I know which one it is cause he's the one more focused on for the overarching plot.

And Liam as Riku, because he just wants to adventure in the unknown, greatest warrior that could be, but is not complete without sora. ... Maybe Billy as Mickey, for been behind the scenes (?) idk, jajaja

I'm so glad you guys are getting good at maintaining your supplies and points. It's kind of funny because when I was 14 playing this game for the first time all of this stuff was second nature to me but I think it's because old school RPG's had you basically maintain everything on your own and didn't have any kind of automated systems like we have these days in our games.
Maybe when Woolie finishes second grade he'll be able to read the parts of the guide that tell you that you can use magic on stuff like the torches at Olympus or Cid's stove in Traverse Town.

There are a couple of boss fights I got stuck on because I'm terrible at video games, but nothing I remember so well as this boss fight. This is the only boss fight where I remember the boss music, and the opening scene of the cheshire cat, like perfectly. But seriously, the boss music. I've remembered it perfectly for the past 5 years.
