This is the ONLY situation in which the consultant should put a bride in a dress over budget without her knowledge and consent - there's secretly a much higher budget, and the dress is still within it! What wonderful friends! The bride must truly be a special person for them to do that for her.

This is what I'm taking about. The entourage was there with actual support ad encouragement. Instead of making the bride feel bad about her budget they stepped up to HELP her. Why is this positive energy so rare in these appointments!?

I wished they showed this consultant more, she's so good at her job and I love her personality. This bride's entourage were so amazing, almost made me cry at how amazing friends they were. They knew what she wanted and they knew who she was, they even went as far as helping her pay for the dress of her dreams. Friends everyone wants.

Ahhh this is my favourite episode I have ever seen. The bride, the consultant, the entourage, everyone was lovely and the whole episode just made me so happy. The bride looks beautiful in every dress she tried on and her friends doubling the budget was the sweetest. The way they focussed on how she looked in it, valued her opinion (and rightly so! She's the one wearing it!) and wanted her to look her best was adorable. I have to agree, the last dress was so beautiful and she looks amazing in it. Basically what im trying to say is, I fucking love the vibe of everyone and everything in this clip. I cried

They got doubled the budget, and the consultant didn't push it to the edge right from the beginning, that was awesome. The London version, would have heard "double budget" and start with $2,500 dresses.

I know that the whole point of this episode was the fact that the friends were helping double the budget, but I also want to appreciate the fact that even though the bride really loved the dress, she was super strong and committed to sticking to the budget based on what she could afford. 7:26

the bride’s friends are the sweetest not only because of their initiative to pay for the difference, but also because of how helpful they were in supplying their opinions on the gowns. oftentimes we see an entourage put their vision instead of the bride’s to the fore, but this group of friends was very constructive in their criticisms and were also respectful. they had their preference (a form-fitting dress) but didn’t pressure the bride into going with that. she ended up with her original choice of A-line and they didn’t hound her for it. also, the consultant was an absolute pro and very considerate of the bride’s budget and her friends’. it seemed like she worked her way up through the prices and didn’t immediately put the bride in the most expensive dress she pulled from the stockroom. she got a happy bride in return. kudos to all the ladies in this video, you’re all wonderful and it was a delight to watch you all.

Once, when I was young and pregnant...and unmarried...my friends chipped in to pay for my real estate school student fees. It was really sweet. None of us are friends anymore, we all just grew apart and made different paths. This was long after everyone had kids - but I'm still grateful to them even if we've all changed.
