Kelly Gisonna Yesssss! I would like it in the font he uses but SEAMLESSNESS in bold, then under it in smaller letters “something i am rather fond of” i have thought of even making my own shirt.
You know what’s the difference between John and other make-up (so called gurus)? John bring us very diverse information on how to use make-up. How it will be useful for someone which is not same with his skin tone. This is a true Guru! Someone who study his craft and share it with others. This is the problem with trend. They are only anxious of what should they do next to their selves. What’s in, and does it really bring out the best in you? That’s why I love all John’s film. And of course some of hi extra soothing voice. 😉
You are hands down the best beauty and makeup teacher on YT. You don't just teach what and how you teach why and that is why I follow you. I'm a 'why' person and your vids are just what I need to understand what I'm doing. Wonderful vid, as ever--keep them coming!
I just wanted to say thank you for making the openings of your videos so simplistic, sans horrible dubstep music or techno. You don’t yell or act crazy in your videos like other you tubers, it’s so much more refined for a change. As simple as that is, it’s greatly appreciated.
I tried to count how many times he said “Mac Cosmetics Powder Eyeshadows”. But I lost it when see those ocean blue eyes looking in mine and I fall in love with the seamlessness vibe that it gave me.
Brian McCleary l like his videos even before I watch them as it's a way of showing support for him. Plus comments, views, and likes are motivational even if he doesn't need them.
Strxanger Grace He is super popular but if you mean why doesn’t he yet have many millions of subs I wonder if the standard YT ‘make up’ consumer gets used to the fast food style rather than John’s nourishing ‘slow cooking’ he makes, with love, for us 🥂 We love you JM
Because people are more at ease with people easiest to copy. John is inspiring. I also believe that most people don't have enough culture or vocabulary to understand him and the flawless way he uses the language
Fadly Mardina He did but so disappointed. He only showed shadows. No eyeshadow application. I skimmed through after 12 minutes and nothing but shadows and talk. I can go to Mac,Macy's, or Ulta and do a shade test on my arm.
“And you will gain access to the back.” 👀 I may have hit rewind a few times just to bask in the glory of that scene. I also may have let out an undignified fan girl squeal. 🤭
This was not the voice I imagined would go with this face when I clicked on your video but boy what an amazing surprise !! Watched my first video of yours 2 days ago and now I am OBSSESED , the voice , the skill , that amazing canvas !! X
you can really tell john knows what he's talking about and he loves what he does, this is the kind of person i can listen to for hours because of their passion!
Very informative. Thank you! I love it when you’re using old style makeup, like the UD naked palette, or the Mac eyeshadows, and not stress only on new and hyped makeup
Patina has almost an olive-gold duochrome to it. It is an exceedingly flattering all-over colour on fair skin and I have never found its equal--I have been using it for years. I think people are conditioned to think that pigmented=good but it's not that simple. People often say that m.a.c shadows used to be good cos there wasn't variety, however I agree with John and think that they are able to be more easily built up and it makes it harder to make mistakes.
You're my new fave. Thank you for the soothing voice, expertise, and for daring to be uniquely you. I especially like the occasional humorously dark moments you share. Loving!!!
You should make a video talking about what’s in your actual kit. What do you use on other people, how do you sanitize, what do you use to sanitize, what applicators do you use, etc? ♥️♥️♥️ Love you.
I’ve used so many different brands of eyeshadows. You cannot beat the pigment and quality of MAC shadows. I’m new to your channel. You are so refreshing compared to other makeup artists on RU-vid. I also appreciate your somewhat old school approach to application. so glad I found you.
Yes! Just like the good old days on RU-vid before the craziness. Amazing content and good ol MAC Cosmetics! Love the asmr tone of your videos, it keeps my focus much better than the all smoke and mirrors in most beauty videos. Loving the videos and keep up the amazing work! Xo
I love MAC cosmetics as well and I‘m always keen to learn new combinations and helpful instructions, so this is the best video I‘ve seen for a long time. Thank you very much John!
Such a helpful film, thank you John! Most useful information on building a professional kit I’ve heard to date. Will miss your uploads terribly while you’re gone but hope you have a splendid holiday :)
Wow, just found this video/channel searching for MAC shadows, which I have been revisiting lately. So glad I found this channel; immediately subbed. Not sure how I missed this channel for so long!
oh dearest john, fellow vampire goddess, i *do* wish you would include each shade of mac cosmetics powder eyeshadow that you mentioned in your video down in the description box!! but i digress. so! +although i have green eyes, we share (almost exactly) the same dark hair and **very** fair/almost translucent skin color-so your advice is finally one that i can truly rely on regarding colours! the way you speak is absolutely gorgeous, and you inspire me to speak more eloquently every day! anyways, i'm a huge fan and patiently await the next fillem!!! love from too-sunny-for-my-lily-white-ass southern california😍😎🔥🌈💕
I tried to look for the longest video you recently uploaded so I can listen to you speak while I'm getting ready. In a time where we most definitely need some fresh blood in the beauty industry, I wish you success!
His voice is just terribly narcotic. As detached as his demeanor is and as cool and precise as his words seem to be, the way they are conveyed and the message within them is just so warm, serving to dull and soften all of my sharp edges. I don't watch these videos until after the sun has set, the lights are low, and all of my day's work is finished. I'd be happy for him to talk to me forever about all of the minuscule and particular details of any of his work, be it makeup or lacquer or art, anything. Right now, I'm watching his videos while I work on my embroidery. Perfect.
I so enjoy your videos. You are very informative and have such a pleasant disposition in your presentation. I have learned so many helpful tips from you.
Loved this! It’s funny how I have got so many of these shades already, as I have seen you using them haha. Thanks for this John, I value your opinion highly and have now added the ones I don’t have that you have mentioned to my purchase list!
Delilah eyeshadow I am impressed with too. No fading or creasing and I do not own a mac product but i will definitely give them a try 🎀 have a lovely relaxing and joyful holiday 👍
John you look so radiant and beautiful in this video!!! Of course you always do, but this video especially 😍😍 Also I am so happy to hear someone mention Amber Lights for the first time ever in a video (that I've seen), I have been using it for years and years and years and it is so beautifully pigmented and buttery smooth and is probably my most favourite metallic eyeshadow ever 😭❤️
My dear...your films are so concise and precise and informative. You yourself are so engaging and elegant. I so enjoy watching your content. Thank you! 💖
Just listening to your info on mac shadow palette. I use a lot of the black eyeshadow: I apply a great eye primer which I use only into and just under the orbital bone, I then apply the black with small wedge brush similar to the one for eyebrows then blend it out with flowering brush. Then over the black I apply a deep brown or reddish brown that deepens the color and smokes it out. On the lid a little lighter brown, and then I also use the black as an eyeliner for the lid but never on the lower eye. I think you are just beautiful. Thanks for all your great lessons you have inspired me. I am also extremely light complected so your advise saves me alot of money not having to buy products I end up throwing away. I find I'm always taking notes from your shows.
