@@DeepDimpleDemon And that's where you are wrong. It isn't hate. It is fact. In 16 years, he was below the NFL average passer rating 9 times. That's over half his career. In 5 of the other 7, he was 3.8 or less over the average or still just barely average. In 2 of 16 years, he was somewhat above. But, even 16 years of below average attempts will have a higher total than 12-14 good years. 2x SB champ? I guess the defense allowing an average of 15.1 points per game and a passer rating of 74 had nothing to do with it in those runs. Oh, yeah, Eli still barely managed to win 5/8 games. Multiple pro bowl QBs had to have one of his worst games of the year for Eli to barely win on last second lucky plays. In fact, if each of those playoff teams just score their average, Eli only wins 2 games. But each team was 13 points below their collective averages and Eli still barely won. 8 straight playoff teams that can't score more than 20 points. That's almost an impossibility. There is nothing special about that. And he most certainly did not deserve either MVP. It should have gone to a defensive player that helped to not give up Brady's typical average of 37 or 32 points those years and not to the guy that only scored 17 and 19 points. Below average QB carried by the defense. That isn't hate. That is a matter of fact.

@@sethwarren8901 I get this a lot. What you are saying is that Eli threw for more yards in 4 games than most good QBs do in 3. Usually, the better QBs do have byes so that they can only play in a max of 3 games. Let's be fair and just take the average number of yards of any QB that throws 3 or 4 games. If Eli is such a great QB, you should have no problem with that. But, you should. For the average per game, Eli isn't even in the top 10 anymore. 14th, in fact. And what about yards/attempt for 2011? He's even worst at 19th. Brady almost broke that record though. Twice. Both times in only 3 games. And 3 others were within 150 yards, also in only 3 games. See how much of a difference that 4th game makes? Once again, Eli shows himself to be below average, but does get a lot of attempts. There is nothing special about that.

If Eli was a bit more assertive with his 0-line to actually block for him and getting on his receivers to catch the ball more, especially Odell (btw I don't care for that one ring he got because it was a given if the Rams went all the way they'd win it with or without him), then maybe he'd have 3 or 4 titles by now.

Same way they know who to root for between the Yankees and Mets and the Knick and nets and the rangers and islanders. They root for the same team their parents root for and their grandparents at least that what I do and most people I know do. Used to be way worse when ny had Yankees mets dodgers and giants.

Buffalo is in a totally different part of the state than the other two teams, so I wouldn't include them in that question. In fact, there is even a substantial number of people in upstate NY who support Boston-area teams such as the Patriots, too, particularly in some of the areas closer to New England (e.g. Albany). As far as Giants-Jets, go, it's mostly personal preference rather than geographic delineation
