This is dope!! I’m leaving for japan in 3 days and needed to update everything since I’m getting a little (emphasis on the little haha) more traction on my channel!!
Thanks a million for this tutorial. New camera summer '21. Missed great shots because I didn't know how to zoom to get great marine life from distance for our sailing channel. The shots where dolphins swam off our bow was amazing
Thanks for all the great information. Been thinking of getting a GoPro to use as a webcam. Would you recommend it? Maybe a 7 Want to use is for my whisky review channel
Thank you for the information, we used go pro 4 but now planning to go for the latest. Your videos are very helpful to us in editing our weekly wildlife videos using FCP. Thank you 👍🏼
Thank you for your awesome tutorial! I usually shoot in manual 100% of the time using the 180°rule when flying my DJI Mavic Air drone. When choosing which ND filter to use, I do so by getting as close to EV 0.0 as possible. With that being said, as you know, the EV on the GoPro isn't available when using the 180°rule. Is there another solution for knowing/confirming how to get the proper exposure with ND's? Thank you.
Hi! What a GREAT tutorial!! The ONLY video in internet about SETTING on a go pro!! I was looking for an answer to my question , can You answer me : how good is Go Pro in shooting 1080 p videos ? I know from Your think media channel that some cameras Like sony ZV-1 , ZV E10 shoot better 4 k rather then 1080p......is it also applicable to Go Pro ?
Another great video Nolan. GoPro should sponsor you, as this video just about sold me on getting a GoPro 10. If I could though put in a request for BMPCC4k video as the best bang for the buck as a entry level Cinema camera. I know a lot of people like Sony and I know technically it is usually at the top of the list, but every Sony product I have purchased I regretted, in it was (for me) very difficult to use. Thanks again.
I film fishing videos on the GoPro Hero 8 and edit on my phone or on my IPad. I have never changed any settings on my GoPro what would you recommend for setting for content like this?
Thanks bro 🙏 I just want to say I'm close to 35 videos I'll be uploading a couple more later....I just remembered that Sean said to upload 35 in a video...my niche is just me growing as an artist....love you think media 👍
So do you use manual or auto shutter? You mention you use set the shutter speed at twice frame rate but later on you leave the EV compensation at -0.5. I am currently struggling with getting hyper smooth to work at 1/60 shutter speed (I shoot at 30fps) and think the only way to go is to ditch the ND filters, use auto shutter speed (which I know will be very high) and set a negative EV compensation. This kind of goes against what I am trying to achieve though...... I use a Pocket 2 and was hoping the Go Pro 10 could replace it - the Pocket 2 is fragile, the VND filters for it don't work (so working out the best fixed filter and applying it is a faff) and it isn't waterproof - but I can't get the "cinematic" footage with the Go Pro.....
Hi 👋 thank you for the videos Please can I ask, I film my cycle races and when it’s sunny I get a lot of glare, what would you suggest from settings or shall I get a glare hood? Also you say bit rate high for best quality but to have down for phone editing! I film my races then upload to iPhone and edit onto iMovie then put onto RU-vid. Many thanks
2.7K 120 FPS FOV WIDE STABILIZATION ON/HIGH PROTUNE BITRATE STD - SHUTTER AUTO - EV COMP -0.5 WB AUTO - ISO MIN 100 - ISO MAX 400 SHARPNESS LOW - COLOR FLAT Is this okay for Gopro hero black 9??
Whenever I film in 24fps, 48-50 shutter speed, and use software stabilization, I end up with a lot of flutter. Sort of a blueing in motion. How can I prevent or eliminate this?
As of November 7th, I can't seem to set my FPS down to 24 if I'm running 5k. Only in 4k. Why is that? And, would it be better to go 4k 24fps now, or 5k 30fps when it comes to post production?
good video / 1second into video - these are the best and let's dive into it / instead of like... I am a Pro with bla bla bla 2 minutes later the video starts.... so annoying, I don't even watch that crap..
