there has been a few fearnot crossbolts that did not scale off of spell dmg so you have to do your own testing to 100% confirm if you got spell or gun dmg. i have yet to get one in pistol form but i found a green shotgun that did.

Thanks for uploading this build man. It's super fun now that I've got all the pieces together. It's so cool that pixies scale of spell and companion damage. I know it's a huge loss in dmg potential, but I'm not planning to use "while action skill is active" enchants. I just don't want to have to deal with re enchanting everything once they fix that bug. If you had spellshot power you would prob do even more dmg. I have no useful enchants atm, but with 55% increase per stack (11) I'm melting things just as fast. Once I tweak my build a bit more I'll pick the enchants I want to go for.

I'll give this a try...I wish I had not gone with nimble archetype. Live and learn. I'm çurious how it will effect this build

I'm actually running a similar setup but i instead use the armor that reserves all health but 1 paired with the graveborn passive for 25% increased damage and a rune shield with 25% companion damage and the enchant that gives 30% bonus damage when less than 50% hp. It ends up doing nearly as much damage as cursed wit but at any range and you never die from dots like you do with cursed wit. Not only that but I don't have to put any skill points into health increase/restore passives so I can go full damage and utility. I also rolled all my enchants to on spell cast versions and run dual spells with the offhand buffmeister+3600 damage nuke for it to pull the damage buff from. I feel like this performs as good or better than the one in the vid but feels a lot smoother to play cause you don't have to worry as much about your spellweaving stacks since they build a lot faster naturally and you don't have to use a clunky class ability that does nothing but activate buffs. If I could find a good necklace and a better pixie weapon roll I am pretty sure everything in the game would be completely trivial.

Is there a way to make this into a graveborn-clawbringer fire build using the pixies and such

I like hydra extender mod since it also works for pixies and if you got the hydra spell that can spawn a bunch of hydras it's amazing. That spell is the hidden gem nobody talks about somehow I only find it in shock

If you get "All companion damage is converted into frost damage" does that mean your companion will lose out on the dark magic buffs from being grave born or does it convert that damage after applying the buffs?

How are you throwing out hydras if you have cold snap as your slotted spell?

Does the damage x2 on a fearnot effect the projectiles that the pixies shoot out also. As in will the pixies shoot 2 projectiles now instead of just 1?

Wonder how good the Summon Hydra Pixie variation is.

I've been doing something similar but with a wyvern companion gun since it adds to thralls, I'm grave/spore though so go for high companion dmg, it's nice having them fly around and watch the red dots disappear, still only at chaos 10 though but I'm working on that

Shotgun pixie makes blast gasp worth it for sure

running this basicaly since 2 weeks, glad im not the only one who found out about pixies and how versitale this build is, u can play any element(dark magic needs a diff setup but works the same), u can run only pets or mix with spells u can use up to 3 different armors (maybe even more), 2 different weapon types, companion/spell/abilty rings not even mantioning how many enchants and rolls on the jewerly u can use ... like srsly in every bottoms slot you have at least 3 options to use only thing u missed/didnt talk about is the enchant "after getting a spell kill get a 50% chance to shot 1 extra projectile" since you pixies are spells they proc this by themself as well, when a weapon has that buff and u throw your weapon your spawned pixies will get that extra projectile as well so can can buff your dmg through this by 50% (if you have a 2x pistol) or 100% if u only have a 1 projectile version... but tbh thats only one of the many ways u can use this build and for mobbing every version will work insanly well aka oneshotting everything on sight anyways to the bossing part as u mentioned "the 50% meele/abilty dmg from your spell dmg" armor is the key for blast gasp, makes bosses go poof in 1-2 sec (sometimes even skip immune phases when ya got a lucky proc) cheers mate

Something isn't working right, my faeries are dealing like 300 damage?

Honestly I noticed the action skill dmg bonus doesn't do much compared to just having 2 spells. One of them could be buffmeister, or you could do a dmg spell then the infinite hydra spawning spell for faithful thralls and those hydras go by spell dmg as well

I just got a Whatnot that does Pixies…. Will this work as well?

Does spell born work better than spore born for this build? As of I just focus companion dmg on spore.

Awesome stuff Nick, got the guns you’re talking about and have been seeing crazy results from your build here. Quick question though. What is your reasoning behind using dire sacrifice over dual spells? It’s probably not that big of a deal but bouncing back-and-forth and just trying to get a grasp on the damage values/interactions there. Is dire sacrifice doing something special for the pixies?

2 things. First, have you tested the length that action skill enchants actually last? I ask because apparently they actually end up lasting 60 seconds. At least that is what a bunch of other youtubers are saying, but I'm to lazy to test it myself. Second, is cursed wit actually doing a lot here? I ask because the extra 100% damage is based off of your distance to the enemy, and most of the enemies aren't close enough for the damage bonus? Or is the bonus based off of the distance from the pixies and not yourself?

I took off all gear and removed all skill points and my feriore fearnot pistol pixie did 710 damage per shot, then when i added magic bullets they did 869 (both tested with 5 stacks of spell weaving). I think they gain "gun damage" bonuses but don't benefit from things that apply to "guns". You may want to test further. The math checks out too for the damage increase being 45% of my spell damage increase. Also fire rate does work with them

Does weapon hydra spawn scale off of gun damage and companion damage or only companion damage? Just wondering if magic bullet & gun damage enchant increases also increase hydras damage.

Where do we farm for the gear to help with the build. You only talk about the gear but not where to get it.

So faithful thralls, pixies don’t count as companions for this? But on your pistol, which spawns pixies, you want companion damage enchant because your pixies are companions. What am i missing?

FYI there is a Pixie SMG🧚‍♀️ it’s called ‘Deodand of the Magician’. Mine dropped with the enchantment that increase companion crit hit chance by %50 and regen %8 companion HP on reload. It consumes 2 ammo and shoots out 51x5 pellets!!

with pixie feriore weapons, is it a certain prefix/suffix. only asking as ive gotten multiple purple fearnot of the smith with cross bolt attachments and they all only spawn hydras. ive been farming for hours and hours and yet to have one drop... the only pixie weapon ive had was a blue feriore smg.

I have a Enchant question: Does "On Spell Cast do 30% gun damage" stack properly with "After Spell Cast do 30% gun damage & 30% Fire Rate for a short time"? Or does it conflict? coz its worded different but its the same gun damage %

are the pixies better than the gun with wings? the gun with wings seems to proc faithful thralls

Won't you lose all the stacks from Harvest when you're in the Loot Chamber? It takes more than 12 seconds to loot there xD

How do you have 48 in strength?

Does the fearnot feriore pistol that isn't a pixie but says 'thrown weapon becomes a gun with wings that shoots enemies before homing in and exploding' also work with this?

Does it matter if spellshot is main or subclass ? Like could I go graveborn and make spellshot my subclass ?

How is your strength and dexterity so high? Mine doesn’t go to 48 and 40 at all , just caps at 30 , how is that?

I put max points into intelligence and wisdom and split the rest between strength and dexterity. I dual wield and want to be able to cast spells fast. I have spellshot as primary and graveborn as secondary with most of my skills in the spellshot skill tree. I focus on dark magic spells and use smg's and shotgun's. I one tap elite's with my spells. My companion is strong too and I have the hydra that spawns also. It took a while to find the right gear but now I'm looking for chaotic/ volatile versions to upgrade.

Do any of the hydras scale with spell damage? or are those strictly just companion damage?

I’d love to see a true melee or stabbomancer ethereal blades capstone build. Please.

Nick your last spellshot stab was terrible but this one is close to my spell/stab setup. Not as good though. Big mistake you’re making again here is using the wrong shield. So far haven’t seen anyone with my build. Blows my mind a guy as well versed in the game isn’t doing the same thing I am. It’s basically ruined the game for me so I won’t be playing anymore since there really isn’t any point anymore. Happy to share with you if you’re interested.

This build is trash. Spell does no damage, can’t control pixies, they don’t save you in ffyl. No survivability, can’t do elite rooms in CC

This build is completely useless against the dragon lord. Pixies just wont target the bone dragon. don’t waste your time on this
