How heavy a club would you recommend for beginners? 62 yo male 72kg 1.72m. Edited: Oh, 15lbs for males.

A 10lb single club or 5lb doubles should work.

Are clubs, maces and kettlebells the only things you use to train?

Yes I train with those the most but, do barbell train time to time and do classic bodybuilding exercises when I do get bored of them. I use agility ladders and my Torque Tank for endurance training

is there any difference in muscular activation if I use mace either than clubbell for the swing (or reverve)? Eventually which should be the equivalent weight for 20kg mace if I use a clubbell? Thanks

I personally get more sore in my lats from clubs, but if you could do a 20kg mace a 16kg club would be no issue. However, the biggest difference between the two is clubs are way more dynamic to work with when it comes doubles…and you dont need to go heavy with those at all.

What if I’m not a beginner, but just have a 10 lbs club? I’ve trained martial arts, barbells, kettlebells, sprints since I was a kid. I want to train mainly for shoulder health, but if it can help with athleticism as well I won’t complain.
