I just bought the Diamond SB-1 for my first compound bow. I grew up hunting with crossbows because my dad was disabled and I was born with Carpal tunnel in both my wrists I tried many bow but the SB-1 was my favorite felt comfortable and smooth draw doesn’t even felt like I’m drawing back 60lbs at all! Best purchase ever!!

Relax both hands more. Don’t grip the bow just let it sit on your lifeline. Open up your trigger hand , stop holding the release. Let your wrist hold the pressure. Reach your index finger farther around the trigger make a 90 degree hook and place the trigger between your 1st and 2nd knuckle (first knuckle being the one farthest towards the tip of your finger). Relax your front shoulder more too. Push it towards your feet a little so it’s not all kinked up. Push the bow forward until you really feel your anchor set in. Use back pressure to fire. Get your 90 degree hook on the trigger then kinda pull your elbow towards something behind you while slightly squeezing your back Muscles at the same time. It might feel weird but just keep practicing you’ll be fine. Glad to see someone getting into archery! I love it!

HANDS DOWN BEST CHOICE for the youth growing into a bow. I bought it for my daughter but I use it for my fishing bow because I can dial it down to 30lbs and it has a infinity setting on the draw length. Good choice GREAT CHOICE!!!! PS I like the single pin sight might get one for my bowtech invasion cpx

I bought my child a Barnett Sportflight Recurve Archery Set from Amazon & pimped it out with MOD's for a total of less than $100 USD. Better arrows, real arm guards, new strings, decent sight, & etc makes the bow feel like it's worth at least $200 USD for a fraction of the cost.

Woah nice shots. So quick question. Would you recommend this bow a beginner who wants to get into archery. I actually live here in Vegas so I was going to go to dicks sporting goods or something since it’s closer to me here in Henderson but it seems like you had a good experience there at bass pro shops

The diamond SB-1 is a great bow to start with. They sell it at bass pro shops and Sportsman’s Warehouse. There is one in Henderson.

I had to buy the whisker biscuit and sight separate. If you can... get the trip down arrow rest. The whisker biscuit ruins your arrow fletchings and slow the arrow down. I’m switching mine out

The arrow rest he has is good if you want a reply cheap one, but the more you shoot you can see that your arrows begin to get damaged, and the rest is less accurate

It’s a good choice for your first bow, but as you get more accurate your going to realize that it’s not for experienced shooters. I got 4 years out of mine and it was good

One downside to single is if your target moves when you’re already drawn you have to guess or let off and adjust. Cool idea but for hunting I think multiple pin maybe a better choice?

Your anchoring point isn't good and at that range you should be splitting arrows wether you are a good shot or not
