so in this new controller one you dont need to hold the bind button to change between d8 and the other bind modes first ?

Hi. I have a problem connecting my betafpv meteor75 to betaflight. I connect the drone to the pc. Windows 10 New port appear in betaflight - com4 I press "connect" - but it doesn't want to connect :( Any Ideas?

Have you installed the latest usb drivers from Zadag? Have other quads worked from the pc? Have you tried selecting a different usb port? Finally... try using a diffetent usb cable. Some cables will not allow connection. Let me.kbow how you go.. 👍👍🍻

Bummer. Dang that Apple gear! Yes. There is a bind button on the fc. You.need to remove the canopy to access it. Press it then power the whoop while your radio is in bind mode and you are good to go. That is providing you have the arm switche all set aok on the radio.. 👍🙏🍻

I'm on a later version of betaflight but I couldn't bind mine... I had to chanage the receiver setting in betaflight to say "frsky_D" it came out of the box set to "Frsky_x" thought that was super weird.

Update : finally flashed the firmware , got my controller binded succefully by turning on some betaflight settings, just to find out my vtx antenna was soldered right from the factory and was wigling everywhere 😭

@@SkyPilotFPV I tried both, super new to beta, “reset” it in beta flight and had to reflash, and now everything is messed up,. The drone no longer is calibrated right. I lean it forward and it goes left lol

Yes. Theres a bind button on the fc. Make sure you initiate the correct process to bind etc. 👍👍

@@SkyPilotFPV thank you sky pilot. i have been on the worse mission ever with the meteor 65 hd . put it like this , i have had it sitting in my house for over 3 months and it has yet to be flown. first i couldnt get it to bind , i had to find a guy online to try for me who i then had to pay extra shipping and 50 bucks to do (while he had it i had to order a new fc since he said it was because i must have fried it trying to bind it on betaflight). then i get it back and when i got it to hover, a back motor flew off. then i ordered new screws which were the wrong ones , finally i tied that crap down with fishing string (desperate attempt) and now the drone wont arm i am guessing the fc is fried again. worst experiance ever i basically wasted like 500 bucks for stuff i will never be able to use. i dont know if this is coming from the taranis the guy who sold me the stuff told me would be the easiest to bind or the drone that sucks. i have gone from falling in love with flying to trying to not see it because it seems to be only for intellegent tech savy people which i am neither of. just a heart breaking temptation.

Yikes!! What a shocker of a ride you have been on! Dont dispair. All probs are fixable with a little fault finding and some good advice. The fc's are fairly bullet proof so i would not have advised on a replacement. What stage is the quad at presently? I am happy to help u with some good advice.. 👍👊🍻

@@SkyPilotFPV hey thank you for real skypilot. right now the drone is in its case. it wont arm. it turns on , has a red light though. on the taranis it seems to be bound because it has the little reception bars as i call them :) , it just wont arm when i flip the switch. also , when the motor first ripped off , i tried to arm it just to make sure it still worked and it did. so then i put it away to wait for the screws and when they got here and were the wrong ones i tied down the motor through the screw holes with fishing string. but when i plugged in the battery and turned on the remote it wouldnt arm... p.s , i am truly sorry for being a pest and putting you on a mission. it was really just me venting.

Ok... Is the bound XM+ LED showing solid green? Have you done a firmware upgrade? We also need to check the Betaflight settings. Are you able to upload a short vid showing the betaflight screens. All probs are fixable with a bit of work. SP.

But i red the catalogue of my STARTER KIT Beta 65S lite brushed FPV (Lite Brushed flight controler, V2.0 firmware and the LiteRadio 2 SE radio transmitter (Bayang protocol). Its a Bayang LiteRadio 2 SE. Sorry and thank you for your help. I learned something new and you have Great videos. Bye
