Seems like she has a good voice for old school metal, but I wonder if her bands perhaps were a bit radio friendly (and therefor perhaps not what comes to mind when one thinks of "old school metal").
I loved going to see them play and watching Them Rock the House! It was heartbreaking that Rob passed away and band members unfortunately went their separate ways. Betsy has a one of a kind voice that Rocks and I appreciate all the years of attending such awesome show’s!!

Damn Betsy Bitch! I still have Be My Slave and Bitch is Back-still a badass cover and great overall record. I remember being torn with this. It's a solid record if you've never the Bitch albums. If you were a fan of those,then this hit you very different but not as hard. I still love that voice tho.
I was alive in those times but not old enough to choose what was listened too. So I didn't discover any of this great 80's female fronted rock till over 20 years later.
I love this album I wish they did not change the band name, I understand why they had to but...should have picked something better than her name. Awesome band though, I forget the drummer's name but he recently passed away, so sad. She still kicks live.
The song was so-so, which is why Betsy never broke big. He had/has a great voice, she has the look, she has the sex appeal, but the songs we're quite there. Her melodies really never fit the song. Her backing band wasn't anything special. A very good band, but nothing original. She had pieces of the puzzle, but not the entire package.
I respectfully disagree. Edgy sound with catchy melodies and solid production, not to mention the look and style, they should have cracked the top 40, and done even better on the rock charts. I think they if they had kept their original name, they might have done better (Betsy just doesn't have the same impact as Bitch).
I am literally cringing. Must have been considered acceptable back in the 80's.She aint a bad singer but the music is eurovision at best. Fucking awful.
