haha your old videos ruled, and so do your new ones. i love that your quirky sense of humor is coming through now, and it probably makes writing and making these videos a lot more fun. hope you keep doing what you’re doing! these vids motivate me to live a healthy lifestyle way more than the serious workout channels do.
Hey Dave, thanks for the video! I've been doing rock climbing for 2 years and Calisthenics for like 6 months now and these would probably be very interesting for me! Also, be careful with the finger training. If you don't use your finger tendons often, doing pull-ups with these might be too violent for your fingers, be careful not getting a Finger Tendon Pulley Injury, I've had these twice last year and it's not pleasant at all! Cheers!
By the way Dave, I have a question for you : I've recently started practicing my handstands at the beginning of my Calisthenics workout, but after 3 days of praticing, my right wrist starting to hurt. The next training session, doing some simple pushups was uncomfortable for my wrist! I've been doing some basic wrist stretching / reinforcement at the beginning of every workout for months, but I still managed to hurt myself trying handstands. I don't seem to have any problem pulling with my wrist though ( like I said in the other comment, I've been climbing for 2 years+ now ), but pushing my whole weight into my wrists seems to be more difficult. Do you have any advice about how to train my wrists to be able to handle more weight? Maybe my handstand technique is wrong too. Thanks!
I DIED at the doll hahahahahaha xD For your next Q&A: What do you think of the r/bodyweightfitness Recommended Routine for beginners? Do you think this is a good routine?
Dave I love your videos, your humour and the useful info you present. Keep at it, really looking forward to the next video. Any chance of me and you training at the open gym, in my nearby park in South London?...ha ha ha
TrainingPal well my invitation has no expiry date and I, like you maybe, don't believe in never😀 just started reading Dan Millman's book (Way of the peaceful warrior). Thanks for the advice, I am already smitten! Ciao.
The DIY Trx handles are the best handles and can be made for less than $10. If you want to really train your fingers nothing beats towel rows/pull ups. The towel allows you to clench your fist all the way working out all the small joints in the fingers.
What they can do is make that extra element removable so that ot wouldn't hurt while rotating arms, and you can just put it back on when you need it! The only problem is how to keep it tight in there when it is being used. No one would want to fall just because it came off.
im a pro climber and ring training is a big part of my training. however i think these are not the product to get even for a climber because it compromises on the ring part of the rings. and finger training is way more effective if you train it seperately e.g. on a hangboard.
